"As with many who dined here, I chose this restaurant after reading a review. I made reservations for lunch one afternoon but missed my time because of weather and a metro line closure. No problem, they very graciously seated me and service from then on was impeccable. Far more so than many other restaurants I had dined at so far in Paris. I'd actually kind of gotten used to being ignored and having to signal for attention of any sort.I had a gorgeous oyster starter, olive oil, some kind of fabulous vinaigrette with coriander. I wanted to drink it! My mouth is watering right now just remembering it! Then, a decadent, silky foie gras with some rustic bread. And steak frites because, well, everybody orders them so they must be fabulous, right? Right! Crispy, perfectly salted, heavenly! Dessert was an interesting lemon thyme sorbet with olive oil and shaved chocolate. I wouldn't say I died and went to heaven over it but it was refreshing and a pleasant end to a delightful meal. It's a tiny place, I did feel a bit cozy with the next table, but, so what? It's a lovely, calming atmosphere with great service and wonderful cuisine. I highly recommend it and would love to return sometime."

Très bon choix pour un dîner entre amis le week-end. Dans ce quartier très spécialisé dans la cuisine japonaise, pas évident de trouver qqch de beau, bon et pas trop cher. Une bonne table et bon service

Six of us had the best steak and fries in Paris, we have been searching for years. Steaks were cooked to perfection and it was better meat than most. A little more sauce would be nice. Our grandsons ate every thing on their plate. They had a view into the kitchen and kept giving the chef a thumbs up. We will return.

Wir haben 2 mal hier gegessen. Einmal zu mittag und heute zu Abend. Schnecken neu definiert mit Petersiliensosse und Salat. Fois Gras wirklich fein. Aal und meeresfische und Sauerkraut mit Ente. Wir kommen sicher wieder in dieses ausgezeichnete Lokal mit sehr charmanter Bedienung. Die Preise sehr angemessen. Feine Atmosphäre. View menu

I went to Spring in 2007 and experience was so fantastic that we thought Daniel Rose's other restaurants would uphold the same standard of innovation and excellence at a good price point. I cant complain about my steak frites- the frites were especially well done but not spectacular. My partner had choucroute with the canard confit and he felt was very good. the service was fine.

The food is really excellent, tender entrecôte was the highlight for us.What really spoiled it was a table of overbearing loud mouth Americans. Like many places in Paris where we encountered them they do not travel well and have no sense of space and how to behave. This was also the staff view and how the restaurant features in many US guidebooks and every night is filled with US tourists. So if you are looking for real authentic experience in Paris, this is not for you.

I would advise against going to this restaurant. When I dined there recently, there were NO French people dining there....only foreign tourists....and this says something about the place. Previously, according to a review I read, they offered gratis gougeres when one sat down....not now. The...wine pour, at 10 euros, was very skimpy (about 3oz). My pot-au-feu contained only two small pieces of veal, a few chunks of vegetables, and a mediocre broth....and that's it! It's not inexpensive, so what a ripoff! View menu

My husband and I selected this restaurant after looking online at reviews. The trip advisor reviews were mixed, but several Parisian reviews have it high marks. We made a reservation, which I highly recommend. It is a small restaurant and saw many people trying to get a table without a reservation. Most ultimately were seated, but not with ease. The staff was very helpful as My husband and I speak little French. They accommodated us and made great recommendations. We had white asparagus for an appetizer. The sauce was amazing. My husband had the Steak, fries & salad with anchovies vinaigrette. I had the Veal Pot-au-feu, fresh herbs & lime. We both loved everything. The service was fantastic...
