"A group of four freinds visited .. based upon the Trip Advisor recommendations Clolser inspection would have shown that the majority were made before Covid and are in some cases questionable ie. palced by freindso f the restaurant .. or, the ocals visitors are both food blind or being paid for good reviews Tepid, insipid meals .. Noix de Saint Jacques tiedie au Xeres insipid, too many of mushrooms .. over priced Ris de veau reheated, poor taste, too many tomatoes, no taste so, left most of it Server owner wasn 't impressed and almost demanded that the plate be finished before taking it away .. think they were offended that the offal they served was awful!! Smoked slamon salad started .. couldn 't go too far wrong .. as it was clearly out of a supermarket packet Crayfish salad .. again .. not much taste .. left most of it .. Fromage Comte Lorrain plate with plum liqueur .. interesting taste .. not too bad Filet Mignon with a girolles sauce .. pork medaillons .. not beef steak .. insipid sauce .. tasteless .. reheated slices of roast pork, tough and dry .. with freezer burns on outside edge of at least 2 slices .. again .. left some as inedible Ice cream dessert .. with candied fruits in a sponge case .. a vdersion of Cassata .. pleasant enough but .. Staff were soicable .. but everything appeared to be a little 'dirty ' Certianly not your 'average restaurant ' .. something comparabel to school dinners or a low budget supermarket canteen .. VERY Disappointing"

This restaurant smells good the tile shirt and the bush axe ^ ^ We eat really well (attention it's hearty ! and the boss is adorable !

Entrees and plates are very well made and refined. Dessert are also good. The place is cool and different. It deserves better results nonetheless.

We came for dinner this evening, the restaurant is great, the atmosphere and the promised Canadian cuisine are totally respected. The poutines are really very good and the welcome is more than adequate.

A nice restaurant, again experienced beg July. Quiet with quick service, very good meals and nice place, looking to Canada style. 3 young waiters weren't able to manage everything. Despite this, good place.

What a pleasure to return to the trapper's Cabane. The decor is almost the same, with an atmosphere Quebec still TOP. The poutines are delicious novelties (testées : la Méchante sausage rougaille spicy ; the cursed beef simmered in the curse; the Royal meats. The cup Commodore a must ( vanilla ice cream, homemade caramel sauce, topping paste with crumble. What a pleasure!

Arrival 7:30 p.m., 5 adults by reservation, very long wait before we take our orders and the pompom they bring us the starters before the aperitifs ordered. Small additional note: all the tables around us were entitled to the little peanuts with their aperitifs except us and when someone points this out or tells us in bad faith that they no longer serve anything since COVID: we would not have should have seen, we might have thought it was true!!!! Bad organization Only 1 person out of the 3 takes orders, not great when there are people, or the wait. We do not recommend this address.
