"While the scenery and view of this restaurant is absolutely breathtaking, sadly the aesthetic is where your amusement will finish. Complete with tiny portions of obscure versions of (usually generous) Italian classics this restaurant feels like it’s lost its way somewhere between its overpricing and need to add an artificial caviar to as many dishes as possible. Despite high expectations we both left hungry and disappointed. I recommend you go for a drink and snap, then move along to a local trattoria if good food is what you’re in search for. Brutal, but I wish I’d been warned before I went."

we had dinner here twice, as we were staying in the hotel GHT for the last week. We had tried out various restaurants in Positano but all disappointing but La Cala Delle Lampare did not disappoint us. I highly recommed the pork belly which was amazing.

The food we have had here for dinner during our stay the the hotel was amazing. All fresh and cooked to perfection. The portions are not too huge which is fabulous for savouring the delicacies. The service and attention to details are just perfect. We are coming back.

A refined menu blending local with gourmet. Loved the soft egg, potato cream, caciocavallo chees, sauteed spinach and black truffle for a starter. Nice Spaghetti Sciue Sciue and Noodles Pastificio Gentile with cheese, pepper, asparagus and scampi, all of which were finely chopped. Pastas were tasty….could have been served a lot warmer. Excellent service.

We booked this place at the last minute for our first night in town, and it did not disappoint. The food is fantastic and more modern than many other places around. The staff are very attentive and very professional, and the food is presented nicely. We had the scallops for entree, and pasta and filet mignon for mains. We also had the chocolate mousse for dinner and that was amazing. Beautiful view if you go earlier to catch the sunset, and overall a great place for beautiful food in Praiano.

"I took my wife for a romantic dinner at her 50th birthday. Scarpariello Pasta and Seafood Caponata are my favorites If you are sitting at Baglio songs like Mambo Italiano and Nel Bu dipinto di Blu, you are in your head when you are in the heart of o’Sole mio. Baglio is a hidden Jem overlooking the most beautiful and exclusive bay of the Amalfi Coast, in the 50s only down Jackie Kennedy was sunbathing and now the latest hotel in the middle century of the Amalfi Coast shares the view. The restaurant is small, only a few tables (one available on a private balcony as an exclusive location for special celebrations), so also during the busiest time of summer here it is very peaceful. Romance was invented here and if you are lucky to come to sunset, you will enjoy something that will be hard to forget, and if there is a full moon, you will ask yourself, this is for real or it is just a dream. An interesting wine list with wines from all over the world, including Israel, Australia, USA and South Africa, as well as local delights, is the frame for a simple but very tasty menu where everything is prepared on site. Beautiful things are usually difficult to get, so do your homework because reservations and a small deposit are required and during the high season it is not easy to find a taxi to drive you there; if you have a car or a scooter, then it is all easier. There is a small parking lot and it is best to book a place just to be safe."
