"La Conchonnaille is in the area between Boulevard Saint-Michel and Rue Saint-Jacques that is packed with restaurants. We always wander through the two streets and choose a place because although it's very touristy, the area is fun and lively. We ARE tourists after all! We were here late on a Thursday night after the Orsay closed and everything was still open and busy. Most of the restaurants in the area offer the typical Parisian cafe standards of onion soup, snails, beef bourguignon, etc, and La Conchonnaille has those along with other non-standard offerings and dishes du jour. Everything we had was very good and well presented, and we enjoyed sitting outside people watching while we ate. Additionally, we really enjoyed our server who was friendly and talkative, and we had a good time with him on this first night of our trip"

It's a great place to eat! The waiter was super kind! The food was good, it was not that expensive. I think you could have a great lunch or dinner there!

brought here by a friend who knew the place, we really don't regret having followed him. a smiling welcome, a little kir and a few bites put us on. that fresh, well-worked products have fully satisfied us and it would have been a shame not to come. We'll be back. View menu

Since the recent change in direction this restaurant is really no longer what it was. the quality of the raw materials and the presentation of the dishes are no longer an appointment. short, it is now like the countless tourist restaurants around it, without interest

This is such a delightful place we found in the Latin quarter. We just looked for busy and with French people in it. One gentleman working along with the kitchen staff. So friendly. A lovely place to while away the afternoon. A beer and a carafe of rosé. Three courses on the 36€ menu. So delicious.

We have been in Paris for a week and happen to find this restaurant among a sea of places to eat. We liked the smaller look and feel so we decided to give it a try. The service was very attentive and the food was outstanding. The onion soup the best we've had yet. We saw some of the other reviews and can't understand why some gave it a low star. For us it was perfect View menu

menu at 13€ full with dessert dish, simple and basic. service a little slow but in the middle of peak hour it is understanding. a the floor all goes well and when you go down into the labyrinth of the basement in search of the toilets, you will discover the kitchen that is a limit on cleanliness (especially on the stoves.) about the wc (see photo) it is really limited, do not hope to shoot the water there is no more button. Anyway, it was really passing.

The dish was actually the best, I had a shelf with different kinds of meat. It might have been a little more shrimp for the taste of experience, but it tasted better. My girlfriend had a carpaccio that was also very good. The bread we got before was also very good. The main dish was already served when I wasn't finished with the privilege. My duck wasn't very medium anymore, but mostly dry, and the shrimp wasn't top. The dessert dish wasn't exactly what we expected, the cheeseboard was with three flavors of cheese a little bit of karig and the vanilla ice cream with chocolate, pepper, and nuts looked more like a glass of chocolate and some hard cream. Not a bad experience at all, but not a r...
