"In Summer or Winter (not November), the Taberna at La Granota is a gem. The menu consists of good typical International food, with a strong Catalan and seasonal tendency. It is extensive (grouped under snacks/starters, omelettes, meat dishes) and very reasonably priced. In fact, the high quality ice creams and afters are the best priced for a long way around. It's well worth noting the address, because the Taberna is one of only two restaurants we know (putting aside hotels and fast food places) which serves meals at any hour of day from 13.00 right through to 23.00. No need to anxiously watch the clock as you meet the odd slow moving tractor as you approach via the NII/A2 or the C63! La Granota is on the intersection of these two roads, with its own turning off the roundabout, and just north of Junction 9 on the AP 7. We've never known the staff anything other than friendly and helpful. Josep and his daughter Carme have run it efficiently and without drama for as long as we have been living nearby (i.e for at least 10 years and no doubt longer), and their staff are equally welcoming. In Summer, meals are served in the fresh air under a distinctive arched roof, which formerly must have been a shelter for farm animals. A fountain splashes away, and the Busy Lizzies smile. In Winter, La Taberna is cosy and rustic. This restaurant is very popular with families, whether in small numbers or for their celebrations, and also with business people for whatever negotiations or machinations they wish to undertake in a delightful environment. It is closed on Tuesdays and all of November."

"The hotel is great, very quiet and well equipped. The Spa is not very big but it has everything. I have had a Detox massage with Carmen, the hotel masseuse, by the way, a 10 has spectacular hands and as a person she is great, I recommend her 100%. "El chico que te recibe es un poco prepotente y desagradable diciendo las cosas… reservé una mesa a las 14:15h y en el momento de la reserva nadie me comunicó que los turnos eran de medias horas. Salí del trabajo y me cambié rápido para llegar a tiempo y al llegar este chico fue muy desagradable al decirnos que no aceptaban mesas a esa hora, y que nos teníamos que esperar. Una vez en la mesa nos sirvieron muy muy rápido, tanto que da a entender que tienen los platos ya preparados, los canelones por ejemplo, llegaron súper rápido y se notó que no estaban gratinados al momento, primero porque se nota reseco por los lados cuando hace rato que se ha hecho y segundo porque estaban fríos. La pasta fresca también estaba fría y la fritura de pescado, aunque si estaba recién hecha, era muy aceitosa. De segundo el arroz del señoret estaba muy bueno, aunque quizá un poco justo de ración. El entrecot también estaba bien, tanto de tamaño como de punto de cocción. Los postres aceptables, pero nada destacable. No sé si volveremos, quizá como última opción si no encontramos nada disponible por o zona."

"Escogimos el menú de 35 € entrantes a compartir : croquetas de cocido, parmentier de pulpo, mejillones , crema de guisantes con ibérico y tostadas de salmón con aguacate. Todo riquísimo y abundante . De segundo la espátlla de xai excelente . Había para escoger arroz , entrecot y bacallà. Postres caseros , muy rica la tarta de queso . Bebidas vino gaseosa y agua incluidas . Buen servicio . Masía rústica. Familiar y buen servicio"
