"We visited La Jacobine the second night we were in Paris. We had tried calling ahead of our trip, literally tried calling to make a reservation for months without any luck. We even had our hotel in Paris call but could not get through. This was a bit frustrating, but we ended up stopping in the night we landed and put our name on a waitlist for the next night which worked out well. When we finally got in, we were thrilled. We ordered two entrees and wine. Everything was good, but I think we both felt a bit let down… when you put so much effort into trying to get in somewhere and you read such good reviews, you expect the food to be incredible. Neither of us felt that the food warranted the reviews. I’m glad we visited, but it’s not something I would recommend above other spots we visited. So in a nutshell, good food (not great), good service, super packed restaurant with a long line outside which we thought added a positive spin on the energy of the restaurant, and good ambiance."

One of the best hot chocolates in Paris, and pastries are simply exquisite. Especially since the place is very warm.

Awesome food and experience. I got the Tajine which I loved, but their French onion soup was great as well. Would definitely come back

Delicious to taste. Excellent hot chocolate. Savoury tatin pie cakes and its fresh cream and millefeuille. Very nice staff. Warmly I recommend this restaurant. Excellent address. View menu

Located in a pretty little alley, this restaurant offers good dishes at good prices. Service and atmosphere are very pleasant. It should be noted that desserts are made home, especially bonded and generous.

I really wanted to take a taste break and this sublime hot chocolate really looked at me by entering this coffee. Several homemade pastries are offered (tartes, crumble, ... and the service is pleasant and benevolent. To test the restaurant menu next time!

superb experience! the staff is on the small onions despite the affluence. dishes are very good and authentic, they will enjoy both French and foreign tourists. the tables are close to each other that gives the feeling of being at home with guests around a good meal that I can't recommend, we'll go! He fell by chance on this restaurant on a betting visit that we eat there! The server is super nice, we wait a bit but we are very quickly rewarded for waiting. The dessert flat menu is 34€, flat entry to 27€ and dessert to 24€. The cuisine is very fresh and gourmet, the desserts are presented at the entrance to make us enjoy! We'll be back with pleasure!

Super restaurant, with a neat and pleasant service. Excellent value for money and a very intimate setting in a small pedestrian street. The dishes are excellent. It's 5/5. (Only a little regret, there were important details that didn't appear on the map like the tomato sauce omnipresent in “the beef suffocation with olives and bacon”, personal regret because the dish was excellent but I did not like the tomato that I would have liked it to be written: I recommend this restaurant where everything is fresh and homemade:
