"let us determine the expectations from the beginning at the right level. mainly fair to the place. la negra should not be considered as a restaurant in any way. la negra is obviously a tavern, yes with a very simple but decent interior decoration. but still a tavern, full stop. not a restaurant. that all said, let's go to the point. the place, the service at la negra, they have two possibilities for sitting, inside and outside on the terrace. I mention this because it already makes a difference from the first minute they arrive. in the interior they get an average service, probably even a decent (it depends all on how busy reviewing their mobile and social media is the owner of the site outside (especially when they are out of town). they receive the kind of service they will never forget when in vejer de la frontera. (they were warned) they do not expect courteous, friendly or even welcoming. neither inside nor outside. inside, however, they can expect a decent timing in the portion. Outside, as the owner cannot see, the waitress will not take care less. (and the owner of the dame doesn't know) the menu and the food will offer them two options: a) the daily menu mainly on Spanish customers who prefer to put something in their beak in a tavern for 9 euro, instead of going to home and cooking themselves. (try from which type of eating in this menu in the attached photos to expect) b) the card menu here can be used most non-Spanish customers in the theory (sadly never far away. the menu is not available internationally, yet the size of the menu should be sufficient for a decent meal. unfortunately neither the presentation or taste of the dishes makes it to reach the place to level the restaurant. therefore it is better to call it tavern. - final consulting - go when they have to fill their bauch, but go with the absolutely lowest expectations and logically they will leave the place satisfied. if they expect a decent meal. they will leave very disappointed perhaps angry. special note: do not be deceived by the Facebook window images and inflated positive commentary, they keep their expectations at tavern level."

I was really disappointed with recommendations from remarkable local recognizable means of life. very salty black paella and no excuse or offer given us. for the first time I have disappointed in vejer with eating in the last 5 years.

an amazing selection of different ways to tempt them! we had lunch today, otopussalat, cadjau in a sose, bull stew, with real chips! croquettes of fish, plus 3 delicious desserts that we shared, all with a very respectable white rioja, that was. we had 2 friendly waiters, carlos and juanma, who looked after us very well. la negra deserves success. it is a great addition to the new city. we may have to try next breakfast!
