"The staff are friendly but the 2 sittings doesn't work. Everyone turns up at the same time so you wait ages for your drinks order to be taken and then, because they are so busy ours wasn't correct, then you wait ages for your order to be taken, then ages for your drinks to arrive - you get the picture. The food is good but the tartiflette portion wasn't big for the amount we paid. The burger and pizza our boys had was fantastic and better value but you don't go to France for burger, pizza and chips!!!"

We visited this restaurant last year, so as we were in Val Thorens, we just had to go back. It was as good as we remembered it being. Very good value for money, and the service is excellent.

The food was great but the place was way too hot. The service was kind and the food is slightly too exoensive. The dishes are very good but a little too small. All in all, you should definatley try it.

excellent eating, excellent setting, super service. each night was a great 3-course menu, in consideration of the size of the group both the beverage order and the eating other was treated very well and quickly

breakfast was good, could be more varied. sometimes it took until the buffet was refilled. the dinner was good. it was nice to choose an option between today's menu and other directed. (at least if you have opted for half board) the staff was friendly and helpful...and the service was good. we enjoyed our meal every evening.

Did not book but no issue getting seated, friendly welcome and was more of a flying meal than a proper relaxed evening dining. Popped in for spag bol with garlic bread and a few beers to wash it down, total for two was about €40, very tasty and good portion sizes.Noted other review about too warm - defintely plan to not wear a jumper or you will melt into the fondue!! T shirt or light weight top

Bookings recommended as this place gets really busy, and with the great service and food, it's understandable! We were a group of 10, at the 7pm seating. The kids really enjoyed their pizza, with enough to have for breakfast the next day! A couple had the Spare Ribs, though nice, they were more like Pork Belly and fatty. The Risotto was fabulous and the portion size was perfect, as was the lasagna. Atmosphere and service - excellent.

The food was good, run a kids menu plus a nice choice of continental food, ie lasagna, pizzas, plus meats, beef, lamb, veal. You are quite squashed in but it nice and warm and part of the charm. The service is a bit up and down, but you can use the time to talk about the day on the slopes. You need to book in the week not much later than 4,00pm, if you want a table on the Friday night suggest booking on Tuesday or Wednesday. We went twice in a week - good place. Reasonable price

"A friend hurt himself on the slopes after a ski accident so we thought we’d go for lunch to soften the blow. We have been skiing in St Martin for 20 years and have driven past the restaurant many times saying we should go. Anyway today we did. Before I comment, I have been lucky enough to go to many beautiful Michelin restaurants. We ordered the 5 dish set menu. By the time we had finished , I’m not sure how many courses we had as they just kept on coming. As regards what was served, it was utterly stunning. I have eaten at Gavroche for 25 years (which I love) and the food served was simply awesome. Oysters, sweetbread, asparagus, a fish I can’t remember. ….. everything was lovely I love eating and drinking in a restaurant with a passion for both and this place simply sang. In short, one of the best lunches I have ever had and all I can say is that it was simply excellent. . Yes it is expensive but the biggest compliment I can give this restaurant is that it is well worth it. 5 stars all the way. Service was also excellent with enthusiastic young staff delivering a service to rival London’s best. One comment. The wine list is a thing of beauty but the pricing is hit and miss. The pricing is a bit expensive but with some well priced wines. If you know what you are doing then you can have some lovely wine at a good price but I’d prefer if the pricing was reduced a little so all can enjoy what is a lovely wine list. As regards our lunch, 5 stars. It was simply stunning and the owner came to say hello at the end of the meal: an Arsenal fan we all have our issues Food with love, integrity and passion and I am a conservative judge. Simply lovely. I hope others have the same experience and well done to all involved as I’m not easily pleased."
