"We revisited the area after 24 years to celebrate my 55 birthday and found this delightful restaurant whilst walking in the Rue de Mouffetard area. We had the 18.90 euro menu which was exceptional value and totally delicious. We both had traditional onion soups to start followed by steak chips for me and pasta salmon for my partner.... Both piping hot, generous portions, delicious and served with a smile from our waiter Ali Abdel! Complimentary water was a welcome surprise although we did order the house wine which was exceptional! A lovely selection of cheeses instead of a sweet desert for us and coffee to finish. Fantastic value, great service, clean facilities and wonderful ambience! Proper French cafe lifestyle eating at its best! Highly recommend this place :"

Unfortunate experience... I wouldn't serve this food to my dog, Cooper. Omelet was extremely overcooked. Meat was a mystery, and couldn't be cut or chewed without difficulty.

Entree+plat or plat+dessert =12.9€Me and my friends stopped for lunch having a good time here, the waitress speaks very good english. The best salad is Nicoise(tuna salad with anchois, egg, potatoes, carrots), fraicasse chicken is also good, but the best is beef with pepper sauce regarding the small price...

Good. It's not gastro, the relationship with the provence is not obvious, but the vegetarian menu at 13.90 is really good. I find the average of the comments a little hard. at this price there for a full 3-course meal, I challenge to do much better! Let's encourage these restaurateurs to improve but don't ask them moon. We really liked the relaxed and private atmosphere of the restaurant. We took the vegetarian menu (starters, main dish and dessert for 14.90 euro! The salad was simple but very tasty (mine with vegetables, eggs and potatoes, my partner 's one with avocado , we really enjoyed the vegetarian risotto and the excellent mousse ou chocolat to close the lunch and a good coffee : The owner served us directly and was kind and attentive, we will definitely keep a nice memory of this lunch!

food is really not terrible. Salads: we do better at home. Vegetarian risotto is a desaster. On the other hand the fries looked good (unfortunately for me I had not taken it.) the pumpom is the apple pie that is unchangeable! How can we miss something so simple?and the chicha bar next to the scent smoke will have ended up dripping us for good. the only positive point is the price of the vegetarian menu at 13.90 but good one will prefer to pay a little more and not to have a stomachache when coming home!

especially don't stop .... run . all that is proposed on the map is infect. We were five adults. the so-called "scratched" consists of a few pieces of chicken without taste and small vegetables without flavor. the rumsteaks were immangeable, they could not be cut off or swallowed so much they were full of nerves and remained on the plates. after claim, we were offered to exchange the dishes it was not used for anything since we were tightened the same thing. after discussion on the addition because we had not eaten anything, we were awarded a discount of 5 €. This cafe is just off the Rue Mouffetard in the Latin Quarter which is my favourite area to eat in Paris, We tried it when we were just in the area searching for somewhere to eat that would have a good vegetarian choice. It was a great choice and we returned a few nights later and again were not disappointed. The woman serving did speak some English and she was warm and i have to say overworked but she was attentive and there was no hesitation in giving a good tip afterwards. Prices are very reasonable as was the lovely wine. We will be back here when we return next year. It is now our place to go when in Paris.

On a filthy cold rainy day in Paris, La Petite Provence gave me the perfect bolt hole for a break from the horrible weather and a delicious 3 course lunch prix fixe. I can't remember exactly what I ate now but I loved every delicious mouthful, all helped down with a summery Rose (some hope). Actually, this lunch time I was the only person there, so the service from the solo waitress was friendly and attentive and I had a lovely time. The décor is very pretty buttery yellow walls, red and white checks on the tables, pot plants, thick stone walls etc. Probably slightly cheesy and a long way from Provence but I liked it.
