"We were very happy that a new restaurant opens on Guérande... But very quickly disappointed after three times, when the staff does not wear a mask, while it is mandatory even in the kitchen. The vegetarian was carbonized and when we reported it, the cook took it very badly by saying that it was normal for him to be black! That it was perfect! The waiter then the boss came to put their grain of salt! Don't comment at home! No way! Service too slow... damage because the concept was pleasant ... 4 customers lost!"

"We have enjoyed a pleasant moment, an excellent meal, tasty dishes and beautiful balances in our plates. On the other hand the chord really surprising, no presentation of the wines served, the glasses were laid to go fast on the table, at no time we received any information, a red came just before the scallops Saint Jacques... "Well... So to start, place Minuscule, a full room corresponds to about 15 people (inability to speak except shouting). The waiters seemed very eager to go on vacation, so I only heard that at my meal. In addition to that, as we announce that the fish is no longer available, the beating on our side to receive a beautiful fish. "This restaurant holds much more than our attention. This is a very good address. The owner defines the place as a bistronomical. And indeed we are there: welcoming and casual, choice of balanced menus, affordable nice presentation in the plate and seasoning of dishes is well mastered. The more you advance in the meal and the more you think the rates are more than correct, the quality and the taste are at the rendezvous. To my great surprise, it is the same chef between dishes and desserts and there, I am stuck on this dessert with fennel, chosen because I don't like lemon desserts so I am a player. We could write a whole chapter on this dessert, which I think is a perfect success in the mastery of flavors, but the best thing is to discover it by yourself... The premises are lucky enough to have such an address and it is well named!"

"we ended up at Le Vieux Logis by accident. We were visiting Guerande at the end of the Season and pretty much all the other restaurants were closing. So we got very lucky to be able to get a table! Service: absolutely fantastic. the Staff was really nice and even though the restaurant was full, they made it look easy, always smiling and making time to answer all of our questions. Atmosphere: really cozy restaurant and you can see the owner tolling at the fireplace. Food: we got the 35 Euro 4 courses Diner. Entree, main dish, cheese, dessert. My wife got the salmon tartar and I got the Gambas/Scallop with Chorizo sauce. Both amazing dishes! I got the duck and my wife got the Steak: both cooked to PERFECTION! Portions were quite large in fact. The other plus were the side dishes: salad, slices of perfectly roasted potatoes, slice of gallette topped with wild mushrooms and vegetable pate. Full disclosure: I am Breton...and in the past I was used to small portions with only one side dish (usually potatoes.. . So it was a great surprise to see that type of spread in my plate. For the foodies out there, you can see that $40 USD for 4 courses meal is a really good value. we come from Seattle were a main dish is around $25/$30... Will go back for sure!"
