"La Scuderia has become a home away from home for me in Frankfurt over the past few years. I find it to be Frankfurt's finest restaurant, with real food (not an amalgamation of ingredients on a plate), and a manager who greets all the clients with a wonderful smile, as though they were guests coming to dinner at her home. Once seated, she asks what I'm in the mood for then matches those desires with the day's freshest ingredients and fashions a meal for me. Spaghetti con vongole veraci, veal tenderloin with morels, grilled langoustines, etc... I've been here many times and I've eaten a myriad of superb dishes.The wine list is short but with good selections. The service has been exemplary on every visit.My thanks to the manager, the wonderful woman with the lovely smile, for giving me a homey refuge from Frankfurt's dreariness, and for crafting such succulent menus for me."

Simply elegant, greeted by the friendly staff and the owner who presents the verbal spoken menu to you. You get a basic selection of 5-7 dishes each, for starters, pasta, seafood or steaks. Everything is super fresh, prepared with perfection. Unbelievable great taste. Great value for your money as well. I felt I have to move in, or at least near by, to enjoy best Italian hospitality everyday!

We have tried every resteraunt on this little strip, they are all good, but La Scuddera is probably the best.It's quite large but has a more New York feel than modern day Italian, service is efficient, not unfriendly but bordering on perfunctory.There was no menu, we were offered a choice but without prices, so we knew that meant pricey, but we were happy with that.
