"accessing a restaurant walking through a cave full of stalactites is a very original way to start. if you also arrive at the restaurant and receive you with kindness, in a cozy, well decorated stay, to the heat of a fireplace and with relaxing music, you realize that you will enjoy. Before starting with the incoming, a rich and abundant appetizer. from first an ox tomato, huge, with onion oil and very tasty ventresca. the seconds, cradle and chickpeas with pixin and dessert an English cream with cookie. the bread is baked and served hot."

The cave is very pretty, it attracts attention. But...no more. a place where you get a pasture for a normal but well-packed meal. It's really not worth it!

Too expensive for what you get and the area where it is based. Staff was not straightforward when suggested the prices and amount of the dishes. Wouldn’t recommend to eat here. Tourist trap. View menu

So after you've walked thru Cuevona de Cuevas walk a further 300 yards from the end of the cave and you'll find a lovely little cafe restaurant called La Solana. It looks like someone has started a cafe in their garden but the food is really local, rustic and wonderful as is the service.

We went there after walking through the Cuevona de Cuevas del Agua at lunch time. The restaurant has a very nice setting in a peaceful garden and the service is very friendly. Everything on the menu sounds very tasteful, however it is far too expensive. Prices are more on Madrid level and the food is not outstanding. We paid for example a EUR 14 for 4 slices of tomato with mozarella which was supposed to be a burrata, but it wasn't. And of course bread is charged extra.
