"we came here fora second time for pre show meal at apollo. we were seated quickly, choose wine and our meals, risotto and a burger for my partner. we waited around 10 mins for the wine, no problem with that, the bistro was filling up quickly, and there was also a large party seated when we arrived. we waited 25 minutes the realised that later arrivals were getting their meals, and we wernt, we asked a waitress if ours would be long, her english wasnt very god and she said it would be 10 minutes. ten minutes later the burger arrived no risotto . a few minutes after we asked again for the risotto to be told it would be a further 10 minutes, why then were we served the other meal, we would like to eat together! the manager did come over to apologise saying the risotto takes 45 mins to cook? but no explanation as to why the other meal was served first. 5 mins after the risotto arrived, by now the burger is cold and had to be changed. all in all i think they just couldnt cope with the number of diners there, and the staff really need to be a bit more versed in english to explain that there may be a wait due to high numbers if diners. we have eaten here mid week and didnt experience the same problems. Also the wait for the ladies toilet was 5/10 mins due to there only being 1 ladies which is also the disabled on the premises, with a restaurant of this size more are needed."

Horrible place avoid!!! We found a bug in the food and got told by the manager that the customers should check their food before eating!

We went to this restaurant before the show at the Apollo. We arrived early for our reservation but were seated immediately with no issues.

Ambience was good and the menu was clearly laid out. Had Mediterranean food for the first time and I absolutely loved it. Presentation, Quality and Quantity was excellent.

We dined at this restaurant before going to an event at the Apollo. The food was outstanding, reasonably priced, and the service was very fast. It surpassed our expectations.

Went for lunch with my partner who came to surprise me, ordered our food and started to enjoy it when I saw something run along the floor, I got up from my seat to find that it was a mouse running around the place, we instantly got up and told the manager who then proceeded to stamp on the mouse. Not a very nice experience to say the least.

I made a reservation in advance and I highly recommend you do the same as it can get very busy before showtime. It's only a 2-minute walk from the Apollo Theatre. It was a fantastic discovery. The staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome, the atmosphere was great, and the food was superb. This is definitely a restaurant I would visit again.

2nd visit here and not a patch on the first. Seated in a corner where there were fruit flies landing on our food and scattered on the walls behind us. Pointed out the problem to the manager who looked at the flies on the wall bemused! Asked to be moved and never saw the manager again. £21 for a 10oz steak which was mediocre, barely hot and tasteless. What happened between this and last visit is anyone’s guess. Although the flies were more of a concern.
