"a good table that in my opinion places the establishment in the top of the long list of addresses or eat on Luçon. A good, hearty salad, very good quality meats, good desserts. home fact is there for something, which is increasingly rare, yet many say they are restaurateurs. a very kind welcome from all staff who are very attentive to the clients. It was a while that I wanted to come, on that I will return with pleasure.Good continuation to the whole team."

"Excellent repas dans cette auberge en bordure de nationale bien isolée du bruit de la route. Il y a une terrasse extérieure que nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu essayer au regard de la météo un peu fraîche en ce mois d'août. Un menu du jour à 11,90€, goûté par mon père et mon fils, de très bonne qualité avec par exemple buffet d'entrées crudités, melon jambon saucisson, du merlu frais et son écrasé de légumes et desserts maison oeufs au lait ou gâteau au chocolat et sa boule de glace. Un choix sympa à la carte ou menu à 18€ ou 26€ pour les amateurs d'escargots, d'anguilles ou de cuisses de grenouille comme mon grand père qui fêtait ses 95 ans et sa compagne, plats testés et approuvés pour leurs saveurs ! Ceux qui préfèrent la viande seront ravis de la pièce du boucher du jour en l'occurence ce jour-là de l'onglet tendre à l'échalotte. Et merveille des merveilles pour réveiller vos papilles en entrée, ce carpaccio de folie coupé dans le filet de boeuf si tendre si doux et moelleux, le meilleur de ma vie jusqu'à présent ! Nous avons passé un agréable moment pour un excellent déjeuner d'anniversaire en famille. Merci beaucoup à l'Auberge de la Plaine pour son accueil !"

"First time we have visited this restaurant (surprisingly, as it is on our doorstep) and were impressed with the overall standard. We tried to book for the same evening as it was for both a birthday and anniversary meal (mentioned, in passing, to the lady.. more of this later), but were unlucky as they were fully booked for that night and the following one. Eventually booked for the Saturday night. On arrival we were welcomed by the same lady, who obviously remembered us, showed us to our table and then went through the menu options (in very good English) for us. We did not have a starter and there was a bit of delay before our meals arrived but we had aperitifs and side dishes to entertain us. Considering that the food had to be cooked from scratch, we did not think that a delay was unreasonable. The main courses, a steak dish and a pork knuckle were very well cooked, presented beautifully and very tasty. Choice of wines to accompany the meal was extensive and not overly expensive for a restaurant of this type. The dessert, as served, was an experience of it’s own and an unexpected surprise! We both had a chocolate half sphere filled with kamok flavoured mousse, together with a serving of exotic fruit sorbet accompanied by slices of fresh strawberry and mandarin segments. The “icing on the cake” (see paragraph two) was that the reasons for the meal had not been forgotten and each sorbet serving came complete with a lighted candle and was served on plates decorated with “Joyeux Anniversaire”. An unexpected and much appreciated touch! All in all, the setting, reasonable pricing, together with the excellent and professional service from all the friendly staff made this an evening not to be forgotten."

"the bosses are really very welcoming, the hotel has been renovated, the double glazing is really insulating, we hear no car. The restaurant is really good. the small negative point is that we hear the clients of the rooms stick, I don't know if it is due to the lack of correction of the customers or poor insulation. frankly I recommend this hotel despite this small detail. If I go back to the corner, I'll go back."

"the coffee shop. No, thank you. It's often ugly and not bad. here, in a glimpse, in the center leclerc , is a pretty elegant brewery .; the tables are spaced . We don't eat on the neighbor's plate and we're not allowed to talk to him. service is dynamic, smiling .the meat is quality and fresh. Everything happens fast and warm. the menu offers a rather wide choice and even buffets in and out. Here’s a comfortable stopover, good value for money when you’re done shopping, or when you have to get back home without wanting to lock yourself in a traditional restaurant. A little more. The parking lot of the leclerc is covered. In the summer, we don't go back to a vatty car after lunch! Go confident."
