"Di ritorno a Capri ricordavo di aver mangiato un'ottima pizza in questo locale e confermo che non è cambiato nulla.Stessa qualità dei prodotti,simpatia e gentilezza dello staff.Piacevole mangiare nel giardino esterno.I prezzi non sono bassi,per mangiare una Margherita ci vogliono 12 euro e per i primi molto di più ma i piatti sono abbondanti.Ovviamente siamo a Capri e se proprio bisogna spendere qualche soldo meglio mangiar bene."

"we have lunched today in this restaurant one of the most important and local assholes of goats. to report, first of all service with a staff always courteous and helpful, and so much professionality without ever being intrusive. excellent cuisine with traditional dishes and excellent fish, prepared correctly. I'd like to make a good choice of wines if you're at a whim, I'd stop."

"Eating here is truly an experience to savor! We were on a day trip to Capri and after enjoying the ride up the chairlift we were told we HAD to go to La Zagara. This place is a little off the beaten path, which makes it that much more special. Upon walking up we were immediately taken with the beautiful setting among the lemon trees. It is difficult to explain the beauty of the outdoor patio, but being able to sit amongst the lemon trees, with other trees full of oranges and kumquats was not only gorgeous, but also relaxing and felt so luxurious. The menu had so many various taste tempting options, but we dedided to make it easy on ourselves and splurged with the Tasting Menu. I'm so glad we did! We were able to try a variety of dishes from a shrimp carpaccio that melted in my mouth, to what I found to be the pinnacle of the meal cuttlefish ink pasta with with an amberjack tartare....chef's kiss! It was fantastic. The dessert was a mouth watering lemon parfait that was served so beautifully and tasted just as good as it looked. Our waiter Benjamin took care to explain each course to us in detail and we also were able to get a charming summary of the restaurant and the history. Thank you for taking such good care of us! We ended up in a bit of a rush to make it back down to the port to catch our ferry, and Benjamin called us a taxi, the owner Marcellus greeted us as we left, and we felt like we had a made the best decision of the day to make sure we came to La Zagara."

"Nice restaurant with a stunning view. Fast, but cold and almost rude service. The food was good, the prices are normal for Capri. The big problem was the gluten free pasta for me. I had an awful allergic reaction after dinner. The severs assured us multiple times while ordering and getting the food served that it is gluten free. I am certain something went wrong at some point."

"Abbiamo cercato un ristorante nei dintorni del ns B&B, proviamo questo locale nei pressi del porto.Abbiamo mangiato bene (due primi di pesce e due cuoppi di frittura): non abbiamo preso niente di particolare ma tutte le portate erano ben fatte e con porzioni soddisfacenti.É stato l'unico posto nel golfo di Napoli dove siamo riusciti a bere acqua veramente frizzante (e non quella lievemente frizzante che spacciano per gasata).Personale gentile e cortese, c'è stata offerta anche una schiacciata nell'attesa delle portate, pure buona (questo fa pensare che anche le pizze devono essere fatte bene)Per il prezzo bisogna fare un discorso generale per tutti i ristoranti normali di Capri che costano in più rispetto alla media: abbiamo speso circa euro a testa per due primi e due secondi di pesce, due bottiglie d'acqua e una di vino bianco locale (una delle più economiche) e due caffè.L'unico appunto che posso fare é la variazione di alcuni piatti per mancanza di materie prime."
