"I am an Indian and find it hard to accept the quality and taste of this place. While the owners were nice and service was good ,it's not fundamentally an authentic Indian experience. The owner is Bangladeshi and while he was sweet his food was far from being Indian. The Dal tadka and vegetable sabzi we ordered were not that great. Spices were not in proportion, salt was less and moreso overall just about ok.The non veg we had was chicken butter masala and that was still ok. The gravy left us wanting for more and while we don't expect as good as proper Indian food, it dint quite make the cut anyway. So with all due respects to service and place the food was not that great. There is another indian restaurant further down (don't remember the name) which seemed better . But dint visit there . Crowd was more there."

This restaurant is wonderfully located and has great food. The vegetable Biryani with raita was amazing! The staff and host were extremely kind and helpful. The service is great too :) View menu

We had some decent food here during our stay for the Euros. We were all a bit worse for wear at the time, but the staff were brilliant with us, shwoing a lot of patience and served up some scrummy food.

Came here as we really wanted an Indian, Was quiet but that was fine, service was fantastic and the owner was a true gent, then we found out he was from Sri Lanka where we got married, so we had a lovely conversation with him, on top of that the food was first class, see you again next year

Came here last year and we had to return, the food was as good last year but the service wasn't, waited ages for service then there was a big argument between the staff and someone walked out, they were full of apologies and when the food did arrive it was lovely, what should have be a 90 min visit turned into over 2 and half hours, would we return next, yes as they are nice people View menu

Went on a Wednesday night. Table of 7. The place was full and they were overrun. Kinda feel sorry for them. Review based on what we got though which was a mishmash of service where dishes arrived starters and mains at different/wrong times. Starter was terrible a pink sausage looking shish kebab. Curry main was decent. Overall it was very 5/6 out of 10. Need to go again to judge how bad or hood it is. Owner was a decent sort though.. He atleast seemed to be trying.

Our family of four went to Bombay Palace on Monday for lunch. Great price contained plat + desert + drink. Extremely helpful and kind waitress who translated Menu into English. Delicious lunch (poppadum with 3 different sauce, entrecote, fish, fries, rice, vegetable mix, indian icecream and vanilla icecream). Personalized service as we revisited in the restaurant during the same week. Excellent harbour view, not too busy location. Good place to go as family. Many thanks to the personel who made warm atmosphere! :-)
