"We were visiting Le Havre as part of our mini cruise with Celebrity Cruises. It was my husband's birthday and so I wanted to mark the occasion with a leisurely French lunch. I wanted to book ahead anticipating that there would be a huge number of fellow cruise guests wanting some where nice to eat during their time ashore. I was able to book online using the link on the Trip Advisor page and I received a prompt confirmation plus a request to confirm the reservation the day before which I found very reassuring. The restaurant is situated in a quiet street about 5 minutes from the beach and tourist information office. We were the only English people dining there on this occasion. The rest appeared to be locals enjoying the VE bank holiday. We opted for the 30 Euro menu. We started with an amuse bouche followed by a languoustine soup. Our main was a lamb stew with spring vegetables. After the cheese course we had a dessert of chocolate mouse, raspberry sorbet and chocolate tuille. The meal was washed down by a bottle of Chablis. Every dish was so fresh and tasty. The portions were not too big nor too small thus allowing you enough room for each course. The service was efficient and friendly. The decor is modern and smart. For a modest size restaurant in quite a modest location it certainly packed a punch above its weight."

We had been toying with going to Jean-Luc Tartarin place but decided we could not be bothered to dress up so opted for this place very close to the marina where we were staying on our boat. I think we paid 21.50 euros each for 3 courses. Good value.A very pleasant welcome by the friendly waitresses was appreciated. We had set lunch menu which we thought was good value for money and very enjoyable. We will return. View menu

I went there with three friends for celebration. I made a reservation half a week before. We all had "Le Menu a 21 euros". For the starter, "Oeuf mollet, fricassée de champignons lardons, velouté pignons de pin" is super good with the amazing source. For the main course I ordered the "Merlu". It's always perfect to mix the sauce with the home-made bread. All the desserts look wonderful! Definitely come back if I have time.

There is no doubt in my mind that this restaurant has a chef that cares enough to use the freshest ingredients! He got what it takes to be successful! I had the 3 course set menu. All dishes were nicely done and well-presented. Both the quality of the ingredients used and the taste of each course were excellent. Considering the reasonable cost, it was an outstanding value! Just one suggestion--look into the possibility of an upgrade in the dishes used.

We chose to eat here after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and walking around Le Havre checking out several restaurants. It looked friendly and welcoming so we returned here to eat and were very pleased with our choice. Beautifully presented traditional French food, nice wine, a lovely waitress all made for a wonderful dining experience. The chef is very particular about using fresh, local ingredients and even the bread is made on site. Highly recommended. View menu

Surprising, creative, tasty... a great experience for an evening with friends or simply a table for 2. The chef has been quite imaginative in designing the card and the taste will just impress you. The place is actually tiny and could get busy quickly. Make sure you reserve a table. You can choose between 2 different menus according to your budget and even mix the entrees. The restaurant is easily accessible, located downtown and you can park in the street nearby. A place for gourmets!

Although located in a quite dull place and with the interior decoration worth a bit of investment, this restaurant serves great food. There are not more than 10 tables in this tiny restaurant, with only one waitress in charge of the whole place. Make sure to book. The chef has a real talent. In a nicer location (i.e. facing the sea front) and with a better interior design, this restaurant could claim much higher prices. But it's great to keep it like it is. A place were locals like to go and were the quality of the food is more important than a posh location or fancy design.
