"An unforgettable gastronomic experience! We recently had the chance to dine in this beautiful restaurant, and I have to say that it was an absolutely amazing culinary experience. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the charming and attentive conductor (Olivier), which created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The tasting menu was varied and offered an attractive selection of gourmet dishes. Each dish was a work of culinary art, as beautiful as it was delicious. Fresh and seasonal ingredients were showcased with creativity and mastered by the talented chef (Pierre) of the establishment. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. The waiter was attentive, passionate about his job, and made sure that we had a pleasant moment without being intrusive. The restaurant setting was simply charming. The name Le Jardin Gourmand is well chosen because the restaurant has a beautiful garden that adds a touch of romanticism to the culinary experience. We also enjoyed the elegant and refined decoration inside the restaurant. With regard to wines, Olivier has selected wines perfectly adapted to the dishes served. In summary, our experience was unforgettable. The combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service and a charming setting makes it an essential place for gastronomy lovers in Auxerre. "Yesterday, the Tigress and I had lunch at l'Accroche, in Auxerre. It is an inexpensive restaurant and, therefore, we expected honest, simple, food. However, it is far more than that. It is run by a husband and wife team and they both cook. The Tigress started with an avocado salad, which was delicious and very fresh. I had a rabbit and apricot (yes, it works) terrine, which was delightful. I went on to have a duck leg, which had been confit'd in cider and caramelised in honey. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Tigress had a moussaka, which was much appreciated. For dessert, I had one of the best lemon tarts that I have eaten in a long time. I'm inclined to be very judgemental about lemon tart, which is more often than not far too sweet; this was perfect. The Tigress had a cheese selection that was so copious that she could not eat even a 1/4 of it. The Chef, his wife and the serving staff were an absolute delight. We only paid 18 euros each, not including a rather decent local Burgundy."

"What a fantastic lunch we booked here. The starters with duck and vichyssoise gave a good kick-off, preceded by a brioche with mushrooms and comté. The main courses were a white fish (forgot to ask which fish it was) in osso-buco sauce and the confit de porc. The chef and his wife work hard to serve everything to perfection. Young restaurateurs that we will hear a lot more from."

"Un restaurant je vous conseille à 2000%. Cuisine traditionnelle et tellement savoureuse. Bravo Chef. Serveuse adorable et très souriante. Restaurant à échelle humaine et ambiance tamisée , calme. Réservation obligatoire !! Tarifs très correct 38€ entrée/plat/dessert. Produits locaux. Bref un très bon moment !!"

"The hotel does not pay a mine when you arrive, or at the entrance, but the reception of the waitress is smiling, the other will be closed. the frame is not very warm, but it is clean. For the dishes, it is that happiness, from the entrance to the dessert, it is the feast to the papillae, just a flat for the jacco sts a little too cooked, but the fish like the meats have come perfect. We'll be back with pleasure."
