I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was a great experience! They had a Christmas menu, along with items from their regular menu. The food was delightful, but after two courses, we were so full that we couldn't fit in dessert. The service was outstanding, and I can't wait to return!

Delicious freshly cooked food at this independent restaurant. It's a cozy little spot with a lovely atmosphere and a welcoming owner. We both tried the Stroganoff—beef and mushroom—and it was absolutely delightful. The wine was on the pricier side, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. After we settled the bill, the owner tracked us down at a nearby bar to let us know we had overpaid and returned £20 to us. It's those little touches that make you want to return, and we will definitely be back!

After a football match, four of us found ourselves wanting a bite to eat, and we decided on this restaurant because we had enjoyed it in the past and were never let down. I had honestly forgotten just how exceptional this place is. We didn’t have a reservation, but since it was early, we were seated right away. We quickly ordered some cold, reasonably-priced bottled beer, then turned our attention to the menu. Though the menu isn't extensive, that's part of its charm.
