"We ate here in July and must say the Carbonara was excellent! Really nice relaxed vibe to the place, great location for a bit of people watching while we ate. My son (15) had Spaghetti Bolognese and it was the biggest serving I'd ever seen, there was easily enough for two people, I would ask about smaller portions if you're visiting as even I wouldn't have managed what was on his plate. There's a huge choice of dishes and after looking at eveyone elses food; I wanted one of everything!"

und trotzdem kein "Touristen-Nepp". Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, das Essen gut und man kann dem Treiben auf der Promenade zu sehen...Guter Salat Nicoise.

We were walking along the Promenade in Nice and were looking for somewhere to eat. Le Koudou caught our eye, first by its name, and second by its decor. You can sit outside or inside and enjoy looking around. The staff were terrific, the food was great, and the price was reasonable. Definitely a spot to visit.

Место надо в сезон заказывать заранее, особенно в нише "зимнего сада". Там любил (любит?) бывать недавний президент Франции. Креветки на льду восхитительны. Здесь я впервые попробовала устрицы и ещё кучу разных штучек в ракушках, о существовании которых даже не подозревала. И назвать не смогу! Заходите с друзьями и заказывайте блюдо, где на льду будет ВСЁ. Ничего не бойтесь: проверено президентом!

Personnel très accueillantService rapide, nous avons pris la viande du plat du jour, la bavette était parfaitement cuite, très tendre et la sauce très goûteuse. Très bon moment passé en famille dans un joli cadre face à la mer.La carte est très variée avec beaucoup de choix, seul bémol l'ensemble à part les petits lits dû jours est assez onéreux , mais nous sommes à Nice avec vue sur mer et nous mangeons bien, il faut parfois savoir ce que l'on veut.

After we checked into our hotel, we wondered down the Promenade Des Anglais looking for a casual lunch & found this restaurant. We both got salads. My wife got the Salade Exotique which was delicious with avocados, shrimp, pineapple greens & more fruit. I had the Salade Fruits Mer. It was a large serving of shrimp, fish & octopus with 2 beautiful large shrimp on top. I am not a big fan of octopus, but blended very well with the other components. Service was good & friendly. Good lunch.
