"Non ho dato spesso un voto simile, e devo darlo non tanto per il cibo in se ma per l'attenzione su cosa c'è nel piattoAbbiamo pranzato in compagnia in questa brasserie che ha il classico menu standard, forse con qualche scelta in meno del solito.ho ordinato un cheese burger, gli altri 2 veloute du chef infine 2 musse alla cioccolate, una bisteccona con patatehamburgher eccezzionale, bel pezzo di carne, cotto bene e ben mixato con gli altri ingredienti, il pane non si spappolava a causa di pomodoro o altro, patate fritte buone non intrise nell'olio il grosso problema sono stati i 2 trucioli metallici trovato nel piatto fra le patate (a rischio ingestione) hanno cambiato subito la portata e rifatta Zuppe super speziate entrambe le persone ne hanno mangiata neanche metà, poi si sono accontentate delle patatine fritteBisteccone abbondante e buono, cotto a punto giustodolcetti al cioccolato senza lodi particolarivino bordeaux 25cc discreto 8€+taxacqua come al solito costosetta1lt =6.20 €+taxil resto delle portate si aggirava sui 13-14€+taxServizio moolto lento(il secondo amburgher è arrivato in 10 minuti quindi è prassi loro lasciarti in attesa),e non coordinato le ultime ad arivare sono state le zuppeNB. in questo posto i prezzi a listino sono esenti iva, mentre nelle altre brasserie lo abbiamo trovato con iva! non so quale è la norma certo che già la cena non valeva il prezzo senza iva..."

I was staying in the Hotel Gobelins next door but prefered breakfast here which is a reasonable 5.60 euros for the standard french breakfast, coffee, croissant, tartine. Staff were friendly and I had a good steak here one night for dinner as the dish of the day for 12 euros , several beers and football on the big screen. Windows on to a busy avenue makes it a good place to sit and watch the world go by.
