Le P'tit Crabe - Menu

Our group had high expectations, but they jave not been met. Even though there was a variety of mussels, oysters, some of the dishes lacked flavor. The service is very good, staff is belpful and friendly

Located in the harbour area of Croustey, surroundings are little bit average but we very much enjoyed the seafood we ate on a hot sunny evening. We had langoustine which was excellent. If you are in the Croustey marina, definitely with a go.

Port Crouesty has many seafood restaurants along the marina. This restaurant offers a number of set menus and dishes of the day, which we found appealing. We chose moules and frites which were nicely cooked and presented. Other diners had steaks or huge seafood platters to share. It catered for children too. Reasonable cost, friendly and we would return.

Overlooking the port this is an ideal place to sit and relax over some wonderful food.Most welcoming by the staff and look after us during our meal. With not being able to speak too much French the staff were most helpful. The food was excellent and the pudding were really delicious. There is a need to book in advance as it get very busy particularly in the summer.

We ate here again having been a few times before. Well worth a visit. Nicely situated looking across the marina. The choice is very good and it include a seafood platter for anyone who enjoys this. We had the 25.50 euros menu which is good value. Try the soupe de poison cappuccino which is a great variation. Good service and nice surroundings. If going there at holiday times it is advisable to book.

The restaurant looked cosy from outside and we (8 people) decided to have some food. Bad decission. We entered at 8:30 PM and it's 11:20 PM and still not done serving (3 hours). This was a single meal not multiple orders. Staff is not enough, they are not trained and they ask customers what should they do cause they have so much orders. Also they never asked how the steak should be done and they did it how they seen fit. Food was also expensive and they just put little portions in the plates. Would not recommend the place to anyone

Ate lunch here...they had a ‘menu du jour’ posted outside but no offer of anything other than ‘a la carte’ once we were sitting down inside. When I enquired there was much sighing and the waiter then went outside to read the menu, came back in to recite it to me, forgot what the main course was, went back out...what a performance! May I add here that, having lived in Belgium for ten years, my French is pretty fluent and the whole rigmarole took place in French, so this was plain bad manners, not ‘let’s get the tourist’. The starter was ok but the main course was cold and unpleasant. We will not return.

For our last night on holiday we decided to treat ourselves and eat out. le P'tit Crabe seemed nice with a good seafood menu. There was a reasonable choice and something to please everybody although their meat menu was a little expensive and limited. We were seated and our drinks were served quickly. I ordered a menu and my starter (cold) was served very quickly. We waited a really long time to be served. It was a Friday night but the restaurant was not full and people who'd arrived after us were served before us.
