"We go to Val Cenis every year to ski and due to our usual restaurant being fully booked we took Les Terroir as a second best , how wrong could we have been! The whole atmosphere was lovely with a compact and friendly environment and...the food, oh my how wonderful! I had the slow cooked lamb which was truly beautiful with the rest of the family having beef and duck all of which were presented on lovely plates with waiting staff who spoke great English and were able to support my husband who is a ceoliac. The prices reflect locally sourced produce all of which are cooked to perfection. The wine menu again was terrific and the waiting staff knew their product and could recommend what to drink with what. You will not be disappointed if you eat here and to be honest I think this will become our new restaurant of choice. You must however book especially at the height of the season. As this was our last night we did indulge and it was worth it."

We have had Raclette many times before but this was one of the best experience ever. The desserts look great as well.

We spent New Years Eve here to enjoy their course menu. Simply superb food and attentive service. Good range of accompanying wines.

Had a meal here last week on a ski trip. Best meal of the week. Wasn’t over expensive. The soup was amazing. Too much food! Excellent service. Will return! View menu

A very enjoyable discovery in the small village of Lanslevillard. The waitress was always smiling and the service excellent. The meal was well presented and the atmosphere in the restaurant very pleasant. I'd definitely go back again.

If you don't mind paying a little extra for something special, this is the place to go. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the meals are beautifully presented and taste as good as they look. Book ahead to avoid disappointment. You won't regret it!

Nice little restaurant. Typical French mountain atmosphere. The food was great. Cheese fondue with cold cuts, rib eye steak, black angus burger and crème brûlée, all very tasty. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. We will come back for sure! Merci! View menu

It’s only day of our holiday, but this place can’t be topped, and we’ve had so me awesome meals. We were warned that they have and and if your late they’ll give your table away. Trust me don’t be late, the...service was warm and welcoming. Being English in a French restaurant can be awkward but not here. I had the duck breast, superb and not small ,my son had the Croziflette and my wife a burger(don’t ask me why), it was all lovely. It’s one of the top places on this site for a very good reason.

Return every year to ski with the same friends in the same resort and we always go back to our favourite restaurant. We eat two nights out of four at the Le Terrior and we always try somewhere new the other evenings. My friends asked...me why is everywhere else dead and Le Terrior is always full?? Quite simply because it's good... very good!!... consistently both food and service. We had fondue and raclette, and even though we could barely move we finish with a slice of blueberry tart and cream. I wish I'd taken a picture as it was so loaded with berries it was inches thick. I'll be back again and again if there's space... THANK YOU Chef
