"We booked a table before attending a show at The Orchard. We had the table booked for 5.30 and decided to arrive a little early so as not to be rushed. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and when it did open they couldn’t take an order as the waiting staff were a little late. We convinced the owner to at least serve us a bottle of wine whilst we waited. The food was good, without being outstanding. My starter of deep fried goats cheese seemed a little over cooked and my salmon tagliatelle was ok. My wife felt her chicken dish was an average as well. The waiting staff were pleasant and did a good job n catching up and getting everyone served on time before the show."

We had a delicious dinner last night with great service at this restaurant. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and there are many options for vegetarians as well. This is the best place to eat in Dartford. View menu

Repeat customer and really enjoyed myself. And I left thinking I must come back here again because the food is so good and there's so much I want to try! Worth it completely even if a bit busy/slow. The lone waitress was an absolute star!

Absolutely blinding. Owner and waitress were so lovely and attentive, atmosphere was really nice. Very authentic, I had the spinach and ricotta ravioli, calamari, strawberry pannacotta and a floater coffee. Definitely will be back for more!

The dining experience was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. It was great value for money and a hidden gem in Dartford that I had no idea existed. You should definitely go or you'll regret missing out. The prawns for starters are a must-try. I'm not sure if the negative reviewers went to the same restaurant. I will definitely be returning soon. Passed this restaurant so many times but never thought to go in until now, it was very quiet when we went which was odd because it was a Saturday evening but the waitress was lovely, the food took a while to come but it was worth the wait as it was lovely. I had a pizza and my partner had the carbonara and said it was the best he had tasted! the food was packed full of flavour and felt like good ingredients. We will 100% be returning.

Called in on Saturday evening on the off chance of a table. As there was no show on at the Orchard we were easily accommodated. Good variety of hot and cold starters with pasta, risotto and pizzas for main courses all very reasonably priced. The food was all very tasty well presented and arrived piping hot (except the cold starters) with a reasonably priced bottle of wine we had a lovely evening. There was only one member of staff serving tables but she kept everyone looked after with no problems. We will certainly recommend the restaurant and will return.

"I booked originally for 6pm and had to change to 6:30pm due to traffic. I hadn’t confirmed The new booking so the host could not find a booking for us. It was my father’s birthday and I was really worried I had messed it up. The host, was fine and was still able to get us seated, we were very pleased with that. We were given a choice of tables, and as a larger guest, I was able to be seated comfortably. We’re we’re served by Tom. S ,for the evening. OMG! What a charming and delightful waiter. He was attentive, had great banter and held a wonderful conversation, wished my father a happy birthday, and tended to my wine being filled up all evening. He made us feel wonderful, and made me feel like a million dollars. The food was absolutely superb, French onion soup was perfectly seasoned, the croutons were Devine along with a salty cheese. Loaded with sweet onions: The liver parfait my husband had was delicious he said. My dad and husband had the beef bourguignon, and I had the chicken, gratin with a side of dauphinois potatoes… Again… absolutely perfect. The service here was top notch, and Tom.S made our first experience at Côte the best. He is a first class waiter, that I would compare to the the likes of The Ritz and The Savoy. Fantastic personality, and very well groomed and presented. What a fabulous and marvellous team member you have there. Cherish that! We will definitely return, and recommend this restaurant highly. 5 Service from Tom.S and the chef."
