"after a reception where we were waited several minutes before the kitchen exit to serve twice aperitives. We were finally set up in a lovely patio. for the aperitif we ordered a bottle of rosé it took the pocket of cold...After not bad entries but without great interest. We waited for more than 1 hour our dishes without even a small word. It had to be claimed to finally be served. (like several other tables around us elsewhere). Well, it's a holiday, but still. in the end a dorade and a guardian without any seasonings or tastes... Of course no dessert we had seen enough. at the exit the boss who had not appreciated our remarks we well said words for words that we were the only ones to complain (visibly false according to previous comments). And she didn't need customers like us. delighted to see a business that doesn't need customers...Closing taken over since this year (we had very good eating last year) by people who are not obviously the trade of pleasant but completely lost waitresses. Be careful not to be proud of the little futile displayed on the front of the for many years. short pass your way."

come to random with our little children: simple but good meals. The mussels are very good. The tahitian fish is nice, but you have to learn the difference between a steak sign and point. Good quality ratio

4 adults and a 3 year old child, the reception is warm, the patio in the back is very pleasant, quiet and well decorated. All our dishes were well cooked and tasty, the value for money is satisfactory. I recommend View menu

holiday end meal with 4 children. dish of the day plus salads and meats. 1 hour's waiting is long. We had water and bread to fill the waiting. fried mussels bof salads a lot of sauce and medium meats very disappointing.

good reception but after. the disaster, mistakes on the dishes, deceit on the meat served, mistake on the wine ordered, waitress who can't lead a bottle, dish served when the other guests have finished, no excuses but a narquois and despising ... lamentable.

"My girlfriend was riding a bike ride and one of our stops for the night was in Aigues-Mortes. our guide recommended the peacock bistro and we went to the city walls to locate it. it is found that we were in Aigues-Mortes on the same day as their annual celebration of the feasts of Saint-Louis, so the community was full of space and visitors. we managed to find the paou bistro in one of the side streets and even if we had no reservation, we had the chance to have the last table available for two. they do not offer paper menus because everything is written on some large portable black tables that are displayed so that you can make selections. our server took care of us quickly and we both ordered inputs and a glass of wine each. our French-language capabilities were sufficient to enable us to communicate effectively! We both selected local wines and they were very kind. a lot of bread was provided and we looked with wonder the restaurant filling up and the small team of servers took care of everyone. our meals went out in time and the presentation was very attractive. I ordered a lamb dish and my girlfriend ordered grilled local fish. Both meals were fantastic, they were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Vegetables were provided for both of us and I had potatoes with my lamb while my girlfriend had rice with her fish. We also ordered desserts and they were served quickly and were also delicious. As the evening went on, we noticed that it was a challenge for the servers to follow everyone, I suppose that because of the festival, it was probably more busy than usual but they managed to serve everyone with a smile even if they were a little overwhelmed. . we spent more than a week in france and we both agree that it was our best meal during this period!"
