"I didn't know what to expect when you came. we came mid-februar while on holiday and the weather was not great, so thought it was a day out undercover. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. the website is quite large, we started with the top wheel area, which was really good, it was great near some of the wacky creations that were made in the run of the years. we stopped eating a bite before it had to do, and the prices were not bad, probably on the somewhat higher side, but the cakes were very good. we moved to the main museum and were shocked to see how many cars and bikes they have built into the large building. everywhere you turn around another vehicle inconspicuously clean and many information about it. the range of vehicles is huge from the first cars to modern. we loved the 007 exhibition, where they could get up close to the cars from the last movie, it was nice to get so close without them on sockel meters away. there is an old-timer bus ride and a one-way track that they take around the website that was nice to do. we looked around the abtei and the house (included in price) and made a walk along the river. when they receive gift help they get back to the year to come, but what was not made clear at the time when they come back, they only get entering the motor museum and no other attraction or house that was a little disappointing. the only thing that it really leaves for us, although a fairly quiet day tries to eat between 12 and 2 to midday, leads to a long wait and wait. there are many picnic spots, so on a sunny day I think that would be a great place to go, but also on a wet day it is a good day out if they don't mind getting a little wet as they go between the exponate house and gardens."

The food here is awful. The tables are not cleared regularly, the toilets are dirty and lacking the essentials. We would try to avoid this place.

Quite disappointed that my lunch had to come from the kiddies menu, you would have thought that in this age there would have been a vegetarian sandwich choice!

Leigh’s at Brabazon at Beaulieu is trying their best with Covid but the service is skin and disorganised. Meals arrived in three stages, despite being ordered together and drinks had to be chased as they’d been forgotten.

You can sit indoors or outside and having ordered at the counter they bring you food out to you. I thought it was all very good and reasonable value and we didn't have to wait too long. They are doing an OK job, which is better than average. View menu

very disorganized, several queues and each doing something different, but not clear until you got near the front. Wanted a bacon roll, but you needed a table number *after queuing for 10 mins) in a crowded venue, they would only serve to the table so that was not going to happen! Better organized for crowds and this could be much better

Great day out with just about enough for one and half days or far longer if we read everything. Entry cost is correct to so don't put the prices up! The food portion size/quality/cost were bang on but I think the selection could be extended a little. Also the restaurant staff appeared to either new or inexperienced however it wasn't a problem. PS: great idea adding little beaulieu.

Why do they call this place a restaurant?? It is a self service cafeteria. The choice of food is very limited, a school canteen offers a better heathier choice. What did £25 buy us?? Two portions of fish and chips with mushy peas and a bottle of cider! Fish portion was small and the chips were undercooked. Half were left along with the mushy peas. Be advised bring a packed lunch and save yourself a lot of grief. View menu

Called in for drinks and snacks. Chose some toasted sandwiches, which were put in the toaster, but we had to wait whilst other customers were served. I obviously knew I had to wait, but I think the staff forgot them, it seemed a long while. The whole cafe seemed a bit disorganised, there was a young girl sweeping the floor, she went round twice while we were there, but passed by dirty plates etc on tables but didn’t clear them. As you might expect, high prices for average food, but once in the museum there’s little option.

In reply to various Tripadviser postings, we often hear from the Manager that we will put it right , we are correcting it , plans are afoot to change and so on and so forth. What happens? absolutely nothing. Nothing has changed for the better at Brabazon in the past 7 years to my knowledge. Prices are still sky high, and service appalling with 15/20 minute delays in paying for food unacceptable. The wh9le place needs to be taken over by someone who cares, and can offer decent food at reasonable prices, with speedy service.
