"Lunch was fine but expensive for what we experienced and we live in Northern California and expect to pay for food. When we arrived, we were asked if we had reservations and when we said no we were ushered into a side room with only two other people in the room. It remained that way throughout our meal while the main room appeared to have filled up. While we thought this was odd, it ended up being nice and quiet and our service was still very good. We ordered the foie gras to start which was quite nice followed by the fish special of the day and the chicken supreme with spring vegetables. Mine was uninspired but my husband enjoyed the fish. Dessert was a fun chocolate dish that was beautifully presented. I had 2 reasonably priced glasses of wine and we each had espressos and it came to 127 euro which seemed high for the quality and experience. Found it through the Michelin Guide and we walked past it near the Place du Clochure."

Clean, nice decor, correct kitchen. Small flat on the round table at the entrance level not awesome as location! (Va and comes continuous noise) Personnel too present (decision)

Very good restaurant in the heart of St Emilion. A refined cuisine, a very good reception and are framed make it an establishment where it makes good to come and eat in groups, together or alone.

Thanks to the team present tonight because despite the great outlook that could scare, this restaurant is warm and authentic with a staff available listening and attentive. The lamb shared was a real delight! After an evening full of bounce the master of the room and his team were able to welcome us and have a special evening! Thanks again! The dwarfs!

I went to dinner on November 11, 2023 and great disappointment: The foie gras of the entrance very little tasteful The veal liver, in a flat, of a soft and friable texture, requested roasted in cooking, had to be brought back in the kitchen because too cooked and the second: barely better. The blown at the Grand Marnier for dessert too poor in Grand Marnier. And for a very (too) high addition. I will not advise this restaurant that belongs, I believe, to the hotel of Pavie, hotel Relai castles

"I wish I would read some of the last reviews before we sit down and order. first, when I asked for a table for 4, the waiter asked me if we had kids, if yes, how old they are. strange. when I said they were, it was considered acceptable. in the history of eating countless meals with our children, we were never asked how old they are before we get a table. that should have been a warning. our daughter sat down while they prepared the table (it was almost 40 degrees, she felt weak. the woman (owner/owner pushed her away and left her waiting outside. very rude. this same woman had a very acidic expression all the time we were in the restaurant (this behavior is the source of the rude French stereotype ho hum . later, when our daughter went to the restroom, the older man who worked in the restaurant (also owner/manager? followed her without knocking and asked her if she was a customer of the restaurant! unbelievable. she was destroyed that we were angry. we have been sitting there for over an hour, as he had not noticed that his customers beyond me (it is not a big restaurant . he follows all his customers into the bathroom? would he have followed my man? absolutely unacceptable behavior and behaved we should deal quickly at this time. it is hard to know why these people actually work in hospitality and if they don't like tourist, why do they have a restaurant in the middle of a city with tourist heaving? on the plus side was the young man who served us very nice, that was okay. I wish we had taken our business elsewhere."
