"We want to be fair with poor reviews, so here without emotions only facts: we were sent out to wait in the cold until a table becomes available we were told, until EVERYONE is lined up outside, the group will not be seated... we waited 10min before getting up to get the menus ourselves we waited 40min for the food the food was mediocre the owner told me: „I am the owner, I do what I want“. >We bring our business rather to another place, where our business is appreciated."

It's a good atmosphere, an original concept. A little pie, waiting for the rain to pass.

for a city known for eating very salty suppe and mediocre food. clumsy waiting staff often needs clean up and slippery floors

This restaurant was just around the corner from our AirBnB, and seemed to be crowded all day, so we figured it had to be good.

hamburger ok. served with chips and salat. jump over the doll. do not go the dirty steps into the broken bath. drink a beer and enjoy the ambiente.

What had started as an enjoyable meal was completely ruined by the owner's attitude. When one of the rickety chairs broke, far from apologising the owner had fun at our expense. Would not recommend

with my friend we wanted a light dinner (aero type), and we stayed on this place without expectations. I must say that it was amazing. what we called as a light dinner, ended, two big tartines very tasty at a normal price. what surprised me was that at 10 o'clock you could still find all kinds of desserts and terrace series. that is quite unusual in France.

we saw this place had a line of people waiting to get in when we ate across the street. i wonder what they were having. we ordered wine, soup, and the house specialty, the tartine. 3 out of 3 were pretty bad. the soup was watery and tasteless. the wine was awful. as for the tartine, i guess it was okay. my order was a grilled chicken tartine. tasted pretty much like any chicken sandwich i could have had in any diner.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
