"If you are in the area of Bois Plage en Ré, the stop in this restaurant is indispensable. We went there a Saturday night. The service was very professional and pleasant. For dishes, the quality is at the rendezvous as well as the quantity. Some dishes are revisited like goat milk cheesecake, a real treat! Too bad we didn't live nearby. I recommend warmly"

"Very sad. We have visited the restaurant several times in the past few year.s and had a wonderful meal and something special.This year it was clear things had changed . Either frenetic or indifferent service. A lack lustre, tired and lazy approach to the whole eating experience . It seemed as if they were relying on their past acclaimed status on the Ile de Re. When asked towards the end of the meal if va bien I began to explain that their classic Marmite de Lotte was no longer the same with smaller portions and the addition tete de veau the maitre became very defensive, disinterested and slightly arrogant stating nothing had changed and with a shoulder shrug to finish.This is definitely not what should have happened in a restaurant like this. This tended to sum up the whole overpriced and disappointing meal. You cannot just rely on your past excellence. I wonder if on reading this review it will be taken seriously or just dismissed as a little insignificant comment with another shoulder shrug. The adverse comments are increasing and I would not want to be an investor pride becomes before a fall . So sad"

"then for the course we went into the restaurant person to welcome us because the waitress smokes her cigarette in front, hello the smell. Then she asks us "yes for what?" "Hello, ma'am" she asks us if we have to book on a tone that makes her want to leave, we explain to her that we have a little dog if it is possible in a little corner of the story not to disturb. It disturbs her and sticks us in the middle of the room. We're gonna swing the menus and then go back. so kind that we took our clicks and claces and we left by explaining to her that it will not be possible she answers us with a not very correct tone "before you sit down and disturb the staff please look at the menu."We are very surprised from other comments and our neck visit. we can't notice the meal because we left after a warm welcome."

"Restaurant découvert grâce à TripAdvisor, cette pépite se cache des rues bondées de l'île. L'accueil est très chaleureux, tout est fait pour qu'on s'y sente comme chez soi.La terrasse ombragée est très agréable, le service parfait : mise en bouche offerte, conseils pour le choix de l'apéritif, plaids à disposition s'il fait frais, cuisine visible depuis la salle, adaptation aux exigences des clients.La carte est composée d'ingrédients bio et de saison, les plats sont faits-maison et généreux (lasagnes très copieuses!). Mention spéciale à la tarte du potager ! Les enfants et bébés sont les bienvenus : de la place pour la poussette, réhausseur fourni, produits de toilette et petite table dans les toilettes, réchauffage du plat au bain-marie...Un endroit à découvrir absolument !Nous avons hâte d'y retourner dès notre prochain passage sur l'île."

"We privatized the restaurant La Maison to celebrate our wedding in December 2023. Julie Anthony listened to our requests and desires, showing great attention to every detail. The evening was simply perfect. The restaurant setting created a warm and elegant atmosphere. The pace of the evening was impeccable, allowing all our guests to fully enjoy every moment, without any stress. The atmosphere was exceptional, thanks to Julie and Anthony who knew how to combine professionalism and conviviality. And to top it all off, the food was delicious! We enjoyed ourselves and our guests were full of praise for the quality of the food served. (Special mention for the accras! ; In summary, our wedding at La Maison will be remembered as a perfect evening, and we are infinitely grateful to Julie Anthony for contributing to the success of this event.
