A great time spent at lunchtime in this magnificent place, lovely staff and delicious food. Very generous plate. We wish them a great summer season

There is a more formal sit down restaurant with table service at the back of the canteen help yourself section. The service was good and the food was nice. Reasonable selection of wines too. It was not very busy when we visited so I am...not sure if booking is necessary.

We stopped here a couple of times whilst skiing Villars-Diablerets. They seemed very diligent, checking Covid passes and photo ID of all who entered. The self-service area was particularly busy so we opted to dine in the table service side. You need to pre-book, there...are sittings at and The food was really good, served by friendly and attentive staff. We also stopped for a coffee break once or twice, in the self-service side. This was the standard cafeteria offering, a bit like a school canteen and just as noisy.

What has happened to this place? It used to be okay. We reserved a table (asked to leave early because of additional sitting in the pm) and ordered fondue terrible, separated and globular. All three. The children couldn’t eat theirs because of the texture....Bread came uncut in a basket and we had to keep ordering more why not just bring out enough bread for three fondues? The salads du Ruvine is good the only good thing on the menu. Children’s meals are rubbish nuggets or spaghetti...truly not a good restaurant with poor service and inedible food. Great view.
