"A group of us from Manchester High School got together after 30 odd years of not seeing each other and I would not change the experience we had at LIKYA OCAKBASI restaurant for anything. I have to make mention of the business owner Hasan. I’m sure he’d rather not be mentioned but he was such a gracious host and saw to it that our every need was catered to. It was breathtaking to see the manager fully invested in the service aspect of the business, clearing tables and giving great service. The food was so delicious and our freshly extracted carrot juice was so good. The atmosphere was filled with love and laughter even shared by those that weren’t a part of our group. At the end of the reunion I popped across to the LIKYA BAKERY for a delicious slice of red velvet cake to take home and it was sooooooo yummy. Exceptional experience had by all. Thank you so much Hasan."

The restaurant offers large portions with plenty of food to enjoy. The kebabs are fantastic, the salads are abundant, and the pita bread is delicious. However, it can get noisy due to the high volume of customers. It is recommended to go early if you prefer a quieter dining experience.

This was the first time we had tried this restaurant but had tried the coffee shop opposite. A lovely buzzy place to eat. Was packed out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was extensive as was the wines. The food was lovely and was hige portions. Luckily we didn’t have a starter!

Came here with a friend to celebrate passing an exam. To sum it up staff are very attentive, we were given free pita with delicious dips on arrival, gorgeous lamb and chicken. Great salad, and a lovely touch was being given some free baklava at the end of the meal. So impressed and wished I lived nearby to visit again!

10/10 for this excellent Turkish restaurant. Food was very good- and portions great size (plenty of meat, salad, and bread). As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. A special thank you to the brilliant service we had from our waiter 'Huseyin. ' Nothing was too much trouble, he was extremely helpful and very patient with us. We would definitely recommend this place!

I visited because the restaurant looked so popular, but was a bit disappointed by the slow service (which got quicker to be fair and average food. My starter was good but the mixed chicken (great and lamb (tough and dry kebabs not so. The huge salad (mostly carrot! was all that came with the dish some rice would have been nice. The compulsory service charge is annoying as always a star knocked off for that.

Never seen a restaurant with such lazy, useless staff. They couldn't be arsed to serve us, spent most of the time hanging out inside, in lunch, gossiping and playing in their phones. Outside we couldn't get any service. Every time we needed something we had to go in and get them. They really didn't want to work. We spent £57, but they couldn't even be bothered to bring water. Lazy, useless, good for nothing staff. It was a mistake to pay the service charge, but we just wanted to leave. View menu

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and served in generous portions. It is always bustling and full of energy. There were six of us dining together, and we intended to order several main dishes and five starters to share. However, the waiter required each person to order a main dish. We reluctantly complied with this rule but only ordered two appetizers instead of five. The restaurant missed out on the opportunity to earn more money from us, as we would have ordered more if they had not enforced the requirement of a main dish for each person.

I absolutely love the Likya Lunch Sweets Coffee Shop! It's located across the street from the larger restaurant, and it's a fantastic place to grab lunch during work hours. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable. They always serve warm, fresh bread with your meal, which is a nice touch. The gozleme is excellent, and I'm a big fan of the soups and lunch options. It's a great spot for vegetarians too. I highly recommend trying the Turkish breakfast, which includes lots of interesting dips. Just be warned, it's a big meal, so come hungry or bring a friend/partner to share. The staff are always cheerful and happy, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

"I thought I should write a review for sofalino, 2 wonderful evenings spent there over the last month, once for my birthday meal with family, and then again a few nights to dinner with my sister. I've been here since its opening 5 years ago, and it's one of my favorite in north london. the food I had eaten at my birthday dinner was undoubtedly the finest food I had tasted since my vacation in italy in the last summer. after having enjoyed the soft, velvety brot and plump juicy oliven, I shared the antipasto for 2 with my sister for the starter and went for the cow mouse for the pornstar. the antipasto is fantastic; it contains prosciutto, salami, mortadella and breesaola for the cultivated meat, roasted aubergine, courgette and red paprika for the vege and is served on many rockets with circustomates, artichokes and black olives. but the absolute high points of the plate were the buffalo bocconcini, deep roasted valleyggio in the brothcrümeln and gorgonzola arancini. so many beautiful aromas to enjoy, and this is only in the starter! the kalbsmilanese was crooked and fritted to perfection, and was huge! my vater, mama and I decided to go with gorgonzola and spinat gnocchi, instead of the standard linguine napoletana, which to potentially one of the best main courses I have ever eaten outside italian. other dishes that are worth mentioning from this night are the pappardelle with venison and porcini mushrooms, and the gnocchi alla sorrentina. when it was my birthday, they had made me a stunning chocolate cake with fresh strawberries, which covered the meal nicely. for my meal last night I had the antipasto, of course, but this time the arancini even better was the last time she had saffron in, which is possibly my favorite last thing. I had the calzone for the main course, which was simply delicious with a lot of ham and mushroom filling and a nice teigy but crispy crust. I went to dessert the day for pudding, completely forget my clients quickly from no cake / sweet tasty things, but it was totally worth because my huuuge disc birne, mandel and ricota tart was from the top drawer; my sister had only one bit of the baked crust and she still talked about how incredible it was the next day! sofalino also has a very high quality wine list; the primitivo 'il pumo ' is a personal favorite of our, with its dark, smooth, laumen intense taste. at both of these locations the restaurant was full and flowering, and the personal friendly and attentive; just what they want from an Italian restaurant. without doubt, I will be back sooner than later."
