"After eating at several other Cafe's in the 6th district, we went to Le Rotonde. Crowded, noisy and tight tables, love it, typical Paris Cafe. Ordered a bottle of Red Vin, waiter dropped it off on the table and left. No pour, no acknowledgement. Ordered Onion Soup, Tasty but on the cold side. Ordered the Steak from the daily menu, ordered Medium Rare. The 2 inch by 4 inch piece of meat arrived alone on the plate, seared black on the outside and **** on the inside, not even rare but raw. The Fries that came with the "Steak" were the best of the meal. I cut the "Steak" and tried to chew a piece, it was the toughest piece of meat I have ever tried to eat. I am almost 70 years old, eat out frequently and have never had such an uneatable piece of meat such as this one. We felt, instead of feeling welcome, that we were imposing upon the waiters time. By the way, my wife's Lamb dish had no taste to it. Don't waste your time, there are much better choices close by."

a nice and cosy place, friendly staff, and very good food. Quite a good surprise! It is worth crossing over from La Coupole...

Morning coffee, it was nice to sit and watch the world of montparnasse go by. Would recommend, quite expensive but no more than the others in the area

We went there in the afternoon for a hot drink, so this opinion does not concern the restoration. Good reception, efficient service. Irish coffee is generously dried and old excellent chocolate

First place we stopped off for some food while in Paris. The wait staff was good, but had a hard time with translation (not their fault). Food came out fast and was good, and location cant be beat.

We randomly picked up ' 'La Petite Rotonde ' '. We chose beef bourguignon tender veal. No starters or dessert. It tasted like traditional home cooking . Reasonably priced. Service was slow. Waiter did not speak English; However he offered 1 bottle of cold tab water at no cost.

At the right time in this restaurant. Between the very original and pleasant decor, the very nice service and the delicious dishes: nothing to say on my side. Cuisine that tastes, dishes that are pleasant to see: I recommend! 57€ to 2 with a dish each, a glass of wine and a coffee.

In an area dominated by creperies it was a relief to find an informal lively bistrot with prompt efficient and friendly service and food of good quality to match. Easy to follow menu with lots of options and daily plats that were traditional but tasted great. No fuss service and a nice friendly atmosphere.

My daughter and I had a meal, she had the tomato soup, I had a 'plat de jour ' steak entrecôte. Soup was ok but so it should be for 7 euros! Steak was tender and cooked well but only came with potatoes, no salad. Total bill was €40 for a steak, tomato soup, wine and an oringina which I thought was a bit steep but then I 'm used to Wetherspoons! Lol. Average prices for Paris though.

Conclusion: too expensive for too little breakfast. We were here for breakfast. there was a croissant for 2,50€ and a tee or coffee for 5€ each. the coffee was very good, but an breakfast for two people (2 croissants, two coffees and a tea) for 20€ is clearly too expensive and does not last long. outside stood formules (an arte menu). there should cost a coffee croissant 5€, but we were charged everything individually. very pity and a reason not to visit this place for the rest of our trip.
