"Lovely little café situated within the train station. We were staying locally in self-catering accommodation, and wanted a substantial breakfast prior to climbing Ben Nevis. After reading reviews we decided to eat here. Not a lot of vegetarian options, but you’re sure to find something suitable; I had the breakfast roll with potato scone egg. Service was quick, the food was good, and the coffee wasn’t bad either! The staff were really lovely too. I also picked up some snacks for the climb from here, and I can honestly say that their cheese and pickle roll at the top of Ben Nevis was the best I’ve ever had!"

So impressed with this place. Honestly run, generous portions, friendly, genuine staff, very central location. Ideal breakfast before a day of exploring the amazing Ben Nevis region! What more could you want? Loved it! Thank you all!

2nd time in Fort William and so glad the cafe is still here. First day we arrived just before closing and were welcomed and still served, came back the next few days and on our last day before heading home. Food is great service is even better.

Fabulous, delicious everything which are pastries, especially strawberry sponge with creme layer and coconut on strawberry outside asian photo. Order at counter but then table service with plentiful tables. Service is friendly family and friends. I had battered fresh haddock with chips and green salad. Nicely thick piece of haddock with crunchy batter. Generous size of my cappuccino and macchiato.

My husband and I and our dog, Ricky, came to this cafe for our breakfast on no fewer than six occasions whilst on our holidays and we enjoyed each visit. The staff were very friendly especially to Ricky catering for his water needs and he did get a free sausage too once which he loved. I would highly recommend this fantastic, dog-friendly cafe....one of the best in Fort William to start the day with a hearty breakfast. Thank you all so much ‍‍

Hidden gem adjacent to train station. Had the full Scottish breakfast which included toast either fried or scrambled egg, hot drink was extra but all still worth every penny. Order taken served within 5 mins. For all the fussy people, they even serve beans separately as standard. Tea was a delight, made with real tea leaves in a teapot a pot of hot water on the side. Equated to 3 cups of tea. Definitely worth a visit, even the views are spectacular!

We had already eaten breakfast so didn't expect to be so tempted. But while exiting the train station were enticed by most tantalizing aromas wafting out the door. My eyes followed my nose to a gentleman enjoying a full Scottish breakfast. I was sold. The staff were so sweet and charming adding to the enjoyment of the experience. The tables were dutifully and thoroughly cleaned after each patron and spacing observed. They also have attractively priced soup and sandwich specials for lunch if I ever go that way again.

"Thought the food was good. Busy Saturday afternoon but they made room for us. This is a Pub and a restaurant, and a little bit sports bar. Everyone was very mellow and we received good service. I tried a toastie, a toasted bread with fresh cut onions and tomatoes. Did not include any sauces but there were packets of mayo, ketchup, brown sauce and tarter at the table. Included a site of greens, undressed, and what seemed to be homemade potato chips .Husband had traditional fish and chips, which were well cooked. The fish is always here one very large battered fish, fried. All was tasty. He enjoyed the local beer as he was driving and didn 't want anything stronger. The big win was the sticky toffee pudding, with two spoons. Waitress asked if we wanted a side of ice cream, whipped cream or custard. Couldn 't decide she said, I 'll bring all three . I didn 't know what this was really but it looked like a round chocolate cake, but it wasn 't. Forks dipped into the toffee sauce on the bottle of the plate and a mouthful of heaven came our way. Add the ice cream and the whipped cream just added more pleasure. The custard came in a little metal cup, like for measuring. The warm vanilla custard was a sauce, so not so thick. Delicious! Hate to say, two people could not finish this dessert. Not for size, but it was so rich. Always try the foods of the country you are visiting. Usually staples for a reason. Sorry no photo. Try these dishes yourself."
