"Ristorante molto rinomato all'interno di Marina Lepanto. Abbiamo avuto occasione di cenare in questa location per una cena della nostra associazione ed in complesso il cibo è stato un po' deludente: il flan di zucchine con guazzetto ai frutti di mare sapeva solo di limone e nascondeva il sapore sia del pesce che delle zucchine; la camarata con astice non aveva la giusta spinta e sapeva molto di pomodoro mentre l'ombrina con patate era buona. Strudel di mele con crema chantilly ben eseguito. Vino buono ma nella media. Conto leggermente alto"

"Walked in for dinner at 6.30 p.m. as that’s when the website said it opened, however we were not able to have dinner for half an hour. No problem, we had a drink first. Then they called us to a table and after deciding what we wanted to eat we ordered. First came a basket of dry bread no butter, no oil just dry bread which was not very fresh. Then my husband’s dinner arrived (lukewarm). They told me that mine outdoor just be another two minutes. No problem I said. Five minutes later they returned to tell me that it would be another 3 minutes. By this time my husband was halfway through his meal. I asked him to wait so that we could actually eat together! 15 minutes later a different waiter came to ask if everything was ok!! NO I said. I haven’t even gotten my food yet. After another 5 minutes my food arrived! My husband had to get his reheated. So we went to have dinner together, but basically ended up almost eating separately! And expensive for what we had too. I give it 1 1/2 stars. Very disappointing as it looked like a lovely place"

"Il locale è facilmente raggiungibile e ha posti macchina tutt'intorno al locale. A mio parere era un po' freddo la sera (inverno) ma ero anche vestita leggera. L'interno è piacevole, tutto sui toni del bronzo e marroni. Ci sono diverse aree ben suddivise. Musica di sottofondo anni 80, bella atmosfera. Il personale molto gentile e attento. Si può scegliere tra ristorante e panini. Prossima volta vorrei provare un piatto di carne perché ne ho sentito parlare bene. Questa volta abbiamo preso due panini con patate fritte e birra rossa. Tutto molto molto buono. I prezzi sono un po' sopra la media ma la qualità è garantita. Inoltre non siamo riusciti a finire perché i panini sono davvero grandi e molto farciti e ci hanno preparato la vaschetta per portare a casa gli avanzi (aggiungono il costo della vaschetta ma ci sta). Perfetto! Erano buonissimi anche il giorno dopo a pranzo. Il pane tipo pizza. Ci tornerò volentieri anche per i panini! Manca una stella solo per la temperatura dentro al locale e i prezzi appena sopra la media."

"Making an objective review at this restaurant is very difficult. You could rely on the menu ‘, location and service as it might be right. And then it becomes at first glance a local bruttino, dated, by tourists and caret. It takes time to live and appreciate this tractor of the fish; it takes the eye to see the couples of the elderly Trieste who have a romantic lunch, the local burber service in a narrow dialect and the inevitable granseola made in the manner of grandmothers. The menu ' and ' BUONO , remained back light years from the modern kitchen, but stritolato from the costs that are reflected on the lists that seem almost inappropriate for a traditional cuisine and without frills. There is still the old Trieste that goes to the sea at the Gabbiano, you are still well and you can still survive many things. But be careful... because romanticism and tradition could be confused with laziness, immobilism and businessism. You're still in time Gabbiano to renew... I'm typing for you."

"The place could be really nice ... an old style house in the wood with a huge park and a lot of tables inside and outside. First problem: few people eating and very very slow service. Waiter didn't really pay attention to the guests. Second problem: cats all around impossible to eat quietly and waiter completely ignore their presence. Third problem: we came here because I remembered a very nice filetto even if not cheap... well we can discuss about the quality of the meat and we can discuss how is possible not to ask to your guest if it has to be rare, medium or well done but I expected it was cooked both sides but probably I hoped too much. Fourth problem: meat in grigliata mista. Really thin and dry chicken, costine with so big bones and so much fat that was impossible to eat also for the taste Fifth problem: complained with the waiter and asked if they changed chef. Positive answer. So they changed chef and no one is checking what they bring to the table Obtained a 15% of discount on the full price. Really difficult that we would go there again"
