"A family-run asador steak house about 26 kilometers via motorway from Pamplona, located on the Way of St James, in an enchanting medieval village. Nice, rustic stone and wood interior. The steaks are either your typical young beef ternera or older, aged beef. Personally, I prefer the stronger flavor of the latter as, I believe most people in this area do and believe this small reataurant serves some of the best beef in the area, bar none. Personally, it is the best beef I have eaten ANYWHERE. Aged beef seems to be a regional specialty. By the way, all the beef is prepared over live hardwood coals. The only way! The restaurant also serves a decent range of traditional dishes if beef is not to your liking, anywhere from fish to lamb chops. In addition, they have a decent selection of wines, as well, including wines from Navarra, Rioja and Ribera de Duero, etc. Something for every price range. It is well worth the 15 minute drive. Enjoy!!"
