"The burgers were disappointing; they were very greasy, and the only discernible flavor was the overwhelming taste of grease. It was surprising that we were the only ones there, and no other customers walked in during our visit. I felt guilty for not leaving a tip, but paying £88.90 for 3 starters, 3 burgers, 4 cokes, and 4 fries felt quite excessive. In today’s economic climate, value for money is crucial, and this meal simply did not offer that. Overall, we were disappointed and likely will not return. It makes sense why the restaurant was so quiet."

Absolutely the best roast in Folkestone! The cauliflower cheese is truly exceptional! The staff are wonderful, and there's a fantastic selection of wine and beer!

The Tropical Collins cocktail is consistently delicious, and the cheeseburger never disappoints. The fries and green sauce are also fantastic. Another great visit!

A Lucky Chip roast is always a great experience, the service and friendliness of staff is great. The food was lovely, and very prompt being served. I asked about the wine and was given a really good description of what was on offer.

The waitress walked past constantly for around 15 mins before anyone actually asked if we wanted a drink. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived and the noise level was unbearable. We couldn’t talk over our meal as no one could hear each other. We had to shout at the waitress for her to hear our order. Lucky chip needs to make its mind up whether it’s a bar or a restaurant as there were people in there drinking and being even louder than the music then you had people trying to enjoy a sociable meal who couldn’t even hear other!

"When we talk to people about where we live and places to eat, we are proud to always mention Sotirios as one of Folkestone’s treasures. Sotirios thoroughly deserves its reputation as one of the highest rated places to eat in Kent. We have loved going to Sotirios for several years now and will continue to do so for years to come. We tend to go for special occasions such as birthdays, valentines, and romantic date nights. If you mention when booking what the occasion is, they always do something to make your visit extra special. The food is delicious especially the main courses such as the Lamb Shank, the Vegetable Moussaka, and the Halibut. We always recommend Sotirios to people who are looking for fantastic food of a Greek, Mediterranean and British fusion cuisine. The setting itself is a perfect ambience for what we look for in a nice restaurant. It’s well lit but still dim enough to be a relaxing and warm space. Very nicely decorated and laid out, and always very clean. On top, for us, is the service. Sotirios is a family run restaurant and you absolutely get that vibe in the best of ways from the moment you walk in. It’s co owned by a father and two of his sons, who all work there and play various roles in combination with the rest of the team. You’re usually greeted by Lucas or Alex sons of the founder, Costas. If you’re not, you will definitely meet them during your visit as they clearly make a point to greet and check in on everybody. Costas also joins the front of house team and waits tables which, for me, completes the family run vibe. I am sure Costas is very proud of his team and what they have accomplished, and they fully deserve all of the praise and recognition they get. Parking: Facing the restaurant, to the right hand side is a small car park with a handful of spaces. Note that you should not park there before 6pm as I think it is shared with local residents. If you are not lucky enough to get a spot, try Manor Road we’ve never failed to find parking there."
