"When we talk to people about where we live and places to eat, we are proud to always mention Sotirios as one of Folkestone’s treasures. Sotirios thoroughly deserves its reputation as one of the highest rated places to eat in Kent. We have loved going to Sotirios for several years now and will continue to do so for years to come. We tend to go for special occasions such as birthdays, valentines, and romantic date nights. If you mention when booking what the occasion is, they always do something to make your visit extra special. The food is delicious especially the main courses such as the Lamb Shank, the Vegetable Moussaka, and the Halibut. We always recommend Sotirios to people who are looking for fantastic food of a Greek, Mediterranean and British fusion cuisine. The setting itself is a perfect ambience for what we look for in a nice restaurant. It’s well lit but still dim enough to be a relaxing and warm space. Very nicely decorated and laid out, and always very clean. On top, for us, is the service. Sotirios is a family run restaurant and you absolutely get that vibe in the best of ways from the moment you walk in. It’s co owned by a father and two of his sons, who all work there and play various roles in combination with the rest of the team. You’re usually greeted by Lucas or Alex sons of the founder, Costas. If you’re not, you will definitely meet them during your visit as they clearly make a point to greet and check in on everybody. Costas also joins the front of house team and waits tables which, for me, completes the family run vibe. I am sure Costas is very proud of his team and what they have accomplished, and they fully deserve all of the praise and recognition they get. Parking: Facing the restaurant, to the right hand side is a small car park with a handful of spaces. Note that you should not park there before 6pm as I think it is shared with local residents. If you are not lucky enough to get a spot, try Manor Road we’ve never failed to find parking there."

"I visited Anna's for the first time today with my daughter. We had the cream tea which was the best I've ever had. It was so nice to be able to choose the sandwiches and cake you want. We even treated ourselves to a couple of glasses of bubbly each!! The atmosphere was very welcoming and calm. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Great food, great staff, great location, what more can I say. I would highly recommend a visit. Tip: best to book in advance, it's a busy place."

"I 'll start off by saying that I liked this place. The place feels cosy and the staff were nice. Unfortunately the breakfast bap I ordered was disappointing. The egg was undercooked with not only runny yolk (which might be okay, depending on your taste) but but runny egg white as well, which I don 't like at all. The sausage seemed like a very ordinary one and seemed cooked partly by steaming it, and the bread roll was not too fresh either. The coffee was, strong but lacking the depth of a locally roasted coffee. This all might be okay if it 's the year 1970 and the name of the place has the word 'CAF ' in it. I 'm a bit spoiled though because for the last three years my local cafe on Queens Rd. in Leicester served up a fantastic breakfast with artisan type ingredients, for about the same price as here. I can 't say that I won 't be back, because as I mentioned, the place itself is nice, and most people seem to like it, but next time I will probably skip the breakfast and try something else."

"I visited my friend who has been a customer of Roka Pizza before and he suggested we get a takeaway from Roka to have on Sandgate beach. I have to say that the food and service was phenomenal. The food was piping hot, and ready exactly when we were told. We ordered from their brilliant app, but I also called after dinner to order pudding because the food was SO good. I had the 12 Quattro Formaggio, Lacoste (Roast potatoes baked and then topped with parmesan) and Garlic and Mozzarella Bread. All were perfectly cooked with delicious ingredients and we will be returning again for sure. For dessert I had a Banoffee Waffle, which was as brilliant as it sounds. The Madagascan Vanilla Gelato that came with is was also heavenly. The ice cream was smooth, with a scrumptious vanilla taste."

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The first time I ordered, the chicken had a bad smell, so I called to complain. They sent a new order, but both had raw chicken in them. When I called again to express my dissatisfaction, the rude employee accused me of trying to scam them. I went back with the delivery driver to show them the issue with the second order, but the employee still refused to refund me. The service was absolutely disgusting. They even called me back to tell me never to order from them again. I will be reporting this restaurant for their poor service and lack of concern for their customers. I had ordered over the phone, and the whole experience was unacceptable."
