Maharani - Menu

I visited hamburg and my friend took me to this restaurant. very good food, tasty and well decorated with all Indian feelings.

of course I did not try every Indian restaurant. but this is one of the best. eating is great and the ambiente is beautiful. it was clean and the waiter helped do a lot with the menu. I strongly recommend it!

we discovered this restaurant four years ago and fell in love with us immediately. eating is great, the atmosphere warm and cozy, but above all the service is super attentive. Nach diversen anderen indischen Restaurant in Hamburg sind wir heute zum ersten Mal bei Maharani gewesen und wir sind total begeistert. "Selten so gut indisch gegessen" war das Urteil meiner Frau. Und die weiß nach mehr als 25 Reisen nach Indien, wovon sie spricht und wie indisches Essen schmecken sollte. Das Maharani können wir nur empfehlen und wir gehen bestimmt ab jetzt öfter hin.

Hübsches Restaurant mit sehr nettem und aufmerksamen Personal. Sehr umfangreiche Speisekarte die zudem auch anspruchsvolle Vegetarier zufriedenstellend. Bei hoher Frequentierung sollte die Möglichkeit der Tischreservierung genutzt werden. Groß gewachsene Menschen kommen mit den quasi ebenerdigen Sitzmöglichkeiten im hinteren Restaurantbereich nur schlecht zurecht. Sehr bequem dagegen sind die Sofaplätze. Insgesamt uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

during our stay in hamburg we went there to dinner with our friends. we ordered mixed pakoras as an appetizer and let them be served in a big baptism that looked so attractive as something hit on a dish in a school caféteria. the Tandoori chicken of my man. was blande, the others also tempts underwhelming, and the naan (in which usually a favorit of me) underwhelmed and teig. Although the restaurant has a beautiful ambiente and is conveniently located in our neighboring, we are not tempted to give it another try. View menu

Bedienung: Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, haben wir einen schönen Tisch bekommen und das auf einem Sonntag Abend. Gerichte wurden schnell und zusammen serviert. Während des essens nachgefragt ob es recht ist. Alles bestens.Gerichte: sehr große Auswahl auch sn vegetarschen Gerichten. Alles hat sehr aromatisch und lecker geschmeckt. Alles war frisch für uns zubereitet. Nichts zu meckern. Preise: Etwas gehoben. Aber für die Qualität angemessen Wir haben ein neues Lieblingsrestaurant gefunden!

On of the best indian restaurants we have ever been to. The menu is gigantic, especially for vegetarians, but nonetheless everybody will be able to find something, if you like it spicy or not. The quality and the quantity of the meals and drinks are overwhelming, everything tastes fresh- & handmade and delivers an exotic flavor. Likewise it's just right in aspect of the portions. The waiters/waitresses are friendly and deliver, just like the whole location, an authentic indian flair. The prices seem way too low in relation to the bidden quality. Concluding all these aspects, we will definitely visit this place again and particullary recommend it to everyone.

Ich mag indische Essen und diese Restaurant hat mich nicht enttäuscht. Die Vorspeise war nur ok (Lammfrikadellen.) Ich fand die ein bisschen langweilig. Aber das Hauptgang (Chicken Jalfrezi) war sehr gut. Würzig und scharf. Genau wie es sein sollte. Das Garlic Naan war excellent. Hut...ab! One of the best. Service war nett und freundlich. I am a big fan of Indian did and the restaurant didn’t disappoint. The starter was ok and somewhat lacking in taste, but the main course (chicken jalfrezi) was very good. Spicy and hot just like it should be. The garlic naan was one of the best I have ever had. Being English I grew up with the English/Indian tradition and this was a very good experience. au...
