This place was a wonderful gem, we were looking for a place to have dinner near our hotel and this was one of the recommendations and it didn't disappoint, charming place, great service and really nice food.

De kamer was simpel, maar genoeg en de locatie was perfect. letterlijk aan de overkant en je ligt in coma. Ontbijt was meer dan genoeg, en het diner was heel goed. Erg vriendelijke personeel, echt een huurmoordenaar.

Beautiful room and perfect place to stay in lake Como in the quiet Mandello del Lario, far away from crowds and overall a much more enjoyable experience. Great attention to detail and nice touches. Bathroom was superb!

Struttura diffusa ma in realtà concentrata per la maggior parte in un complesso edilizio che affaccia su una piazza interna a quattro passi dal lago. La cittadina di Mandello merita veramente nel suo saper conciliare la calma e la serenità con la giusta dose di vitalità. La struttura e il personale riflettono perfettamente questa stessa filosofia riuscendo ad essere al contempo accoglienti e formali ma anche disponibili e cordiali. Veramente consigliato.

We spent a very enjoyable morning learning to make pasta and tiramisu in the beautifully appointed Mamma Ciccia cooking academy with a view of Lake Como from the window. Thank you Silvia or making the lesson so relaxed and fun, and we had the satisfaction of eating what we had made with a glass of wine at a lovely courtyard table in the sun. A real Italian experience. We were so impressed that we came back for dinner in the restaurant later in the weekend. The little courtyard restaurant was stunningly romantic, the service immaculate and the food wonderful. We sampled the taster menu which was full of exquisite flavours and surprises. Per raggiungere la nostra meta di vacanza decidiamo di fermarci a dormire a Mandello da Mamma Ciccia. Piacevole sorpresa la stanza e la gentilezza del personale. Buona posizione a pochi passi dal lago. Silenzio incredibile rotto purtroppo da fastidiosi rumori alle di mattina. Sembravano lavori stradali ma in realtà non li abbiamo poi visti. Purtroppo il ristorante e’ chiuso e quindi ceniamo al bistro’. Non è un ripiego perché siamo curiosi di verificare se le recensioni lette sono reali. La pinsa la fa da protagonista. Consigliatissima. Good location, there are several restaurants nearby. But the prices are high. There is free parking 200-300 meters from the hotel. There is also a beautiful waterfront nearby. The room is very warm (January), there is everything you need, including towels, soap, shampoo, cream, hair dryer, kettle, tea, refrigerator, bottle of water and more. Our room was on the 2nd floor, no elevator. Very quiet, you can't hear your neighbors. The only negative is that there are not enough curtains or blinds.
