"We have eaten in and from this restaurant for many, many years and the food, while a little pricey, is wonderful. However, we find ourselves ordering from it less and less because, the last three times we have, the order has been incorrect. The first...time it happened was earlier on this year, when after waiting over an hour for our order, there were meals missing and meals we had not requested in their place. We rang them to complain, but by the time they brought what we had originally ordered, some of our guests were able to wait any longer due to having other plans. After a few months, we decided to try again for my birthday, but again, the order was incorrect. I received beef instead of chicken with my meal, but after waiting 45 minutes for our delivery, we were all hungry, so I decided to just eat it rather than try and have it changed. I don't particularly like the beef, but it seemed the easiest option. Then two weeks ago, we once again decided to order from them, and once again, the order was incorrect. I love the food, but this has really put us off using the Mandarin City. We have been loyal customers for years, if not decades, and this is so disappointing. The staff are lovely and it's always been a pleasure to go there, so please, Mandarin City, start being reliable again!"

When did it become ok to charge £14 for a chicken curry main with no rice. Food was ok but not worth the cost. Friendly staff but just not worth the cost

as a faithful customer of the mandarin for some years I am disappointed and disgusted at my last meal. the delivery lasted almost 2 hours, cost £25.00, was in the future cold, an order was wrong with the addition of a hair strand. I don't know what happened, but I'm never gonna rip off one again and I'm not gonna be worth the money anymore.

Well well well what to say not the best place I have been to. In here service is better than the food served. We ordered honey chill chicken with cashew nuts and Peking bownless ribs and noodles after ordering we got our dishes after minutes were ready. Suspicious thing, isn't it? If u pay over quits per dish u would expect much more than that.

What happened here on earth? it used to be great pre brexit, now it is an expensive to sell revolt gastric food. Ribbon made us throw, fried rice, the most of a bottle of oil in it and stale...prawn cracker. I spend about £1400 a year here and don't go back. covid is a cache, brexit is another cache, but start from low quality dog food as expensive authentic Asian cuisine and they are history. and a lot of luck.

Used to be a special treat all be it an expensive one but the food was always excellent. Unfortunately due to my underlying health issues putting me into an at risk category my wife and I decided to order a takeout rather than visit the...restaurant. This was very disappointing as the portion sizes were very small e.g. Salt and Chilli Squid main course seven small pieces! The other dishes were equally disappointing.

we had only one time of two chicken dishes and both were unpredictable. the chicken was very overcooked and was as heavy as balls. the meal cost over £30 and was a complete waste of money. When I complained, the only answer was that...they would tell the cook to do it a little better in the future!. my god is the best thing that can do belfast? the mandarin was always our way to the Chinese restaurant in the past and was very good, so what happened now, sad?
