Very nice experience in this manor. The warm but professional welcome. Everyone makes you feel comfortable right away. Nothing to complain about the dishes: quality cuisine, good semi-gastronomic, very beautiful table decorated with attention. Very spacious and pleasant room, however the window could not be opened to half what can be problematic.Cadre and location at the top, one feels in a haven of peace, however the reception at the bar is catastrophic, we had the impression of disturbing. 12€ pet supplement to offer nothing is when quite excessive Rooms: 4

We have just had a fantastic dinner, the menu is a small choice of very well prepared dishes, each course has a suggestion from the market, I had the starter and main course form the market, the wine was well priced and very palatable the waiting staff are all very friendly and happy to help me with my poor French language skills. Aussi le chien est bienvenue

The restaurant is set in an old mansion, right in the middle of a golf course. It is a beautiful setting, as is the dining room. The food is well presented, though the menu could include a wider variety of dishes. But the service, when we dined there, was terrible. We were there with our kids, and their meal took 90 minuts to be served. Unforgivable, especially when the restaurant was not full and pleny of waiters were around. This hotel is set in the middle of a large golf course in a beautiful, scenic setting. The service was excellent and welcoming. We were offered a ground floor room outside of the hotel as they knew we had a dog with us. However, we decided to stay in the main building and had a very large room with a superb view. Dinner was served out by the pond and was an extremely pleasant meal. Breakfast in the morning was great although we did comment that we were glad we got down to breakfast before the 60+ people who came off a coach to be fed which caused quite a queue. For £55.00 per night for a room (dinner and breakfast are extra), we felt it was extremely good value for money.

Very disappointed!! The photos on the site are tempting. Unfortunately if you are in the annex, it's not great. The room is simple and poorly soundproofed. Taking a cold or boiling water shower is extremely unpleasant. When we reported it to reception, no response or even any commercial gesture. You have to go through the outside to access the swimming pool. There are 4 small locker boxes to store your belongings for the entire hotel!! The staff is speedy and not necessarily pleasant. We were threatened to charge extra for 3 apples and bread that we wanted to take away from breakfast. The buffet being all you can eat, it’s incomprehensible. We were in transit, so stayed just for one night on an extended trip from Hamburg in Germany via Munich to Lisbon, Portugal. We saw some hotels en route, this one isn’t especially beautiful. The old house seems to hold some faint graces — but neither the views of the modern-ish building next door nor the kind of run down charme in rooms and around are pluses. In other cases the staff, friendliness and service orientation, and quality of food make a real difference — we’re sorry to say that we did not find either.
