"This was a nice experience. The Marlborogh is pretty much 'ground -zero ' Constable Country being in the centre of beautiful Dedham.There is limited on-site parking as the cars share the outside space with customers eating al fresco. The picnic benches are to hard to negotiate for disabled diners and some optional traditional chairs would be a thoughtful improvement. Inside is all rustic/historic as you would want but with a modern bar serving your needs. The welcome is warm and the food is delicious imho and has noticeably improved from my visit a few years ago. Well done 'The Marlborough ', you are recommended!"

had a great Sunday with the family roasted. well seasoned and very tasty engraving. the service was attentive. was good. 4 stars only because of the reduced menu but still good selection.

What a stunning pub to visit. Staff are friendly and welcoming with great service. The food is delicious, which you can enjoy sitting by open fire. What more could you ask for. Definitely worth a visit.

excellent roast. I had the fag and got a lot. my friend got that huh and wasn't much meat. but all very tasty and the staff were friendly and good service. the atmosphere was relaxed and felt like a nice pub. we don't know the opposite, but it was nice for a day we walked along the river.

amazing stay for our 35 high-time anniversary. andy and the team were amazing. wonderful eating. friendly atmosphere. everything was impeccable. fantastic to stay in this historic building, which has spacious bedrooms. if you have a hotel guest, you can also use the late bar in your parking space. thank you.

Stunning vegan Sunday roast with excellent gravy! Lovely thoughtful staff (particularly the lady behind the bar who found a way to get us a table depite not booking for what was a very busy Sunday roast service) and very dog friendly. Also the building itself is gorgeous and we just had a lovely time sitting bar the open fire. Can't wait to come back!

a really nice fund in a beautiful little village! could not recommend it very much enough. eating was amazing. room is great. full place is quirky and full character. the staff was soouo good, courteous, friendly and super helpful! book a stay and book a meal. also in a beautiful part of the country with some incredible walks. many thanks for barry caroline
