A relaxed, homely restaurant serving some traditional Italian dishes which you'd only find in a place like this. Extensive menu of pizzas, cocktails and Italian wines.

Had a dinner this evening with my friend who is Italian. Service was great, friendly and very prompt we didn’t have to wait for anything. Food was amazing. We will come back!

Pretty good casual pizza and pasta. Lovely atmosphere and sense of welcome. Pizzas were, dare I say it, subtle; not the big bold over the top things we normally think of. Chilli oil is a real winner.

I booked Maurizio’s for my friend’s birthday and we had a lovely evening. The service was friendly and efficient we all ordered pizzas (mine was a “hey gorgeous” with salami and Gorgonzola and was delicious). Amy new favourite spot for pizza in Cambridge!

This is a very lovely Italian restaurant located on Mill Road, a short walk from either the city centre or railway station. Family-run, passionate and friendly. We all ate pasta, perfectly cooked, al dente, with wonderful accompanying sauces, robust and with a depth of flavour. A nice wine list and range of cocktails, reassuringly Italian! Come here and savour la dolce vita in Cambridge. We can 't wait to return.

What a gem of a place this Italian restaurant is. The staff were so attentive and they really looked after me and my sister. I couldn't have asked for more. We had a sharing platter to start with which was amazing and then pizza's for our main which were to die for. Honestly the pizza's tasted just like what you would get in Italy. There was an Abba tribute band on after and they were just brilliant. Two girls and they rocked the place. I absolutely love this place and will be going back again.

We were meeting our daughter who had booked a restaurant near Maurizio's but was not open. So we went to Maurizio's instead It was good choice The retsuarnt is huge and shabby chic Maurizio is a genial and knowledgeable host We had cocktails to start with and then two pizzas and a salad The food was very good the pizzas had a thin crust and the toppings were tasty and generous We had a bottle of Gavi to go with the meal The ice cream of 3 different flavours were good We had a very good time here

We came as a group of friends and the service was super friendly until we'd ordered when it disappeared. The food took quite some time and we were all really hungry when the first plates appeared. Everyone at the table got their dishes and I was told that my pizza would be there presently. One of our numbers had finished their dish when my pizza finally arrived. It didn't have extra mushrooms as ordered but I was too hungry to make it a thing. I took a photo after one slice no shrooms. After the main, we ordered two puddings to share and that's when a really pervasive sewage stench started wafting over. We(my sister and I) arrived at the restaurant on time, just before five pm, just before our guests, our friends the father and daughter for our Dining Club Meal, when we all arrived and were seated, we ordered drinks, five Moretti Zero Alcohol beers, and a bottle of San Pellegrino Sparkling Water, our Starter was an Antipasti Misto Board, of Cured Meats, Ham, Salami, Gorgonzola and Parmesan Cheeses, Salad Leaves, Grissini Bread Sticks , and Home Made Bread, for our Mains we had three different Pizzas, the father had a Lord Orli, Gorgonzola cheese, home made tomato sauce, nduja sausage, anchovy fillets, capers, olives and fried garlic, the daughter had a Proscuitto and Funghi, Mozzarella chee...
