"Went to this restaurant, which seemed ok from the average reviews. We were one adult and a child. Ordered the crispy duck, sweet sour king prawn, chicken noodles, a beer and a coke. All for £61. The food was average, quickly delivered, which questions whether it was just warmed up to order. The portions were small with a 12.5%. There are much better Chinese restaurants in the area… The Mandarin Kitchen has a similar price point but with a much better quality and portions in comparaison."

We went twice for lunch and both times the food was delicious. The staff is friendly and the service was great, our orders came quickly.

Excellent food, good service. We visit London as a family a few times each year and always make a point of eating here on our first night. Food is superb, reasonable selection of drinks, and a really cosy atmosphere.

We have visited with my partner a few times and we were happy with the food. Particularly we loved the appetisers and the curry but all the rest is delicious too. The selection of desserts could definitely be improved as it is mainly based on ice cream.

Thursday night at 9pm, not busy but not empty either. Food was tasty, they accommodated a special request and the service was attentive. It was nice to see the Lemon Chicken dish coated in breadcrumbs rather than the normal battered dish. Nice place and would certainly visit again when I am in the area. View menu

Been customer of this excellent neighbourhood restaurant for many years. Walked out of empty restaurant due to conduct of new Manageress. Totally rude and offensive. Complete lack of customer relationship. Totally embarrassed the staff, who apologised. Disgraceful. She should be fired for her performance.

The most bland food you can imagine. Fresh spring rolls with prawns sorry ONE prawn at Maximini are usually full of flavour. At Maximini they were completely tasteless. The main Seafood HuFan looked already beige and slimy when it arrived and that's how it tasted of nothing. What a shame! The fact that I was the only guest to start with on a Tuesday night should have already been a warning sign. You are warned now!
