"The staff were lovely and doing their best ..even presented my 10 year olds with a small birthday plate and clap ! They were great. But the wait for the food was lonnng ! Staters after half an hour overdone dry chicken nibbles and the main course 1 hour from arriving at the restaurant !! The food was mediocre and fairly tough …burgers and ribs and the chips overcooked. The milkshakes were a success though but overall a very disappointing visit. I wouldn’t recommend Maxwells to anyone ."

Each of our parties loved their meal. They said the gluten-free burger and the bungalow was best that it had cost. Service was great. Swimming, efficient. Only the underside was constantly near door opening and closing.

It was just as fantastic as my first visit! The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and it was a great value. The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was lovely. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

Our visit was amazing. There were three of us who came from Manchester. We came for 2 nights and both evenings we came to Maxwells because our first visit was amazing! I think we were served by Amy Maybbe? She was so nice! And the guy on the front was also amazing, he had patterned pants on. He sat on our table on the second night and was so inviting. Thank you, we cannot wait to come back and visit!!
