The quality of the food was excellent as always, as was the value for money. With only couples in the restaurant it was lacking in atmosphere but that can't be helped in these difficult times. Our only real concern was that the staff were not wearing masks or visors

A very friendly family run hotel and restaurant. Have followed McKees from Studley to Balsall Common via Solihull and have always been more than satisfied with my visits. Although the menu is set for three months there is always another menu sheet offering changing additions. The food served is reliable without being boring, just enough spirit of adventure. This is particularly true of their themed evenings which are extremely good value for money. Long may Haig's continue to serve me and the community of Balsall Common and beyond.

This was our first visit to Haigs, and upon entering, I immediately noticed large paintings on a yellow wall, all of which were crooked. I was tempted to straighten them all out. The decor could use some improvements, but we were there for the food so I won't dwell on it too much. We ordered two lagers, both of which were cloudy, making me apprehensive about our experience. However, the staff happily replaced them, and when it came to the food, I had no complaints. The food was delicious, the staff were great, and we will definitely be returning. It's difficult to find a good restaurant in the neighborhood, but we've found one now. Keep up the good work, guys. View menu
