"There are two restaurants that I make a point to visit when I am in Spain, and El Meson is one of them. For the past 13 years Ana has treated me like a daughter. When I want traditional tapas madrilenyas, this is no doubt where I go to get them. The tortilla de patata is one of the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot), along with the chipirones, chistorra, and the list goes on. This is not a place to visit when you are on a diet, but rather where you want to bring your family to enjoy the views in the plaza on dias de fiesta. Be sure to reserve your table in advance because the terrace is nearly always full."

La amabilidad de Ana y su dedicación es admirable! En plena época Navideña, donde están todos los bares repletos, ella mantiene su sonrisa y una atención muy de agradecer. Recomiendo en especial, la tarta de queso hecha por ella !

La comida es increíble y las raciones son contundentes. Una gran variedad de postres caseros que están realmente buenos y lo mejor, las aceitunas que sirven como aperitivo. El restaurante estaba muy lleno y el servicio fue impecable, los camareros súper atentos.

in the main square of Navacerrada the restaurant has a lot of tables on the outside to dine enjoying the sun. Also inside is nice with typical decor and furnitures, very traditional home feeling. You can have several kind of delicious tapas like croquetas, jamon iberico, cheese (queso manchego), chuleton (beef steak). We decided to order 2 bocadillos (sort of panini) with hot sausage... delicious... good food, nice position and atmosphere... perfect to taste real spanish tapas in a friendly and simple environment
