"Husband recommended here as he is a lorry driver has popped in here on a few occasions for there breakfast baguette which he says is so good at a great price too. So we came on Sunday morning it was packed was lucky enough to get a table. Ordered two breakfasts coffees which were brought to our table quite quickly, waitress was really friendly. Food was hot tasted great, especially the bacon, totally full afterwards. Husbands bubble was really nice wished I ordered that as well. Will definitely be going back to sample more of their quite extensive menu which is also at a very good price. Now my top choice place to eat when visiting Faversham."

I have reviewed this place before so I am letting my 7 year old daughter dictate part of the review for me on this occasion:

Undoubtedly the best full English breakfast in Kent. The food is cooked to perfection, particularly the fried eggs. The owners, who are Turkish, are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Still our regular. Meeting place for a coffee. Good coffee. We often have food. Apart from the part pre cooked bacon. The breakfasts are good. A decent amount at a fair price. A nice family business. View menu

I called in for lunch today ...an all day breakfast. My order was politely taken and the food well cooked and quickly prepared. It came with toast and a lovely cup of coffee. A lovely and popular place to eat.

Return visit to this lovely Cafe. I chose Roast Lamb and my other half chose chilli cheese jacket potato. Despite being incredibly busy due to the Hop Festival being on the food was absolutely perfect. We will return. View menu

Just had a great coffee and a very tasty lunch in Moonlight. Service was very good as was the whole staff on today. Little gem of a place and not expensive, saw people eating massive breakfast plates and checked the price, bargain !!!

Every Sunday, I make sure to stop by Moonlight for their amazing roast lamb. The portions are generous, the meat is tender, and it's served in delicious gravy. The waitresses are all top-notch and they also make the best fry up in town. I absolutely love this place.

"Having been to the Phoenix several times and I believe, this to be my second average review of the food and service, you 'd think they would have taken heed, but clearly not. Firstly, like most top end restaurants in London, they are reserving the right to charge for no shows £20 per head). But, what they are also doing, which is very unfair, is charging you for cancellations within 24 hours of the booking at £10 per head. If one or more of our friends had fallen ill over night it 's the flu season at the moment), they would have been were forced to go for an expensive average Sunday lunch, whilst spreading their germs to the other diners. It also poses the question, what would some do if you book a table less than 24 hours like we did) and then decide to cancel? The excuse that orders for food have already been placed doesn 't really hold water. The Sunday menu forces you to order a minimum of 2 courses at £34 per head. Some of the top London restaurants are charging less for far more opulent Sunday roasts e.g. the Jugged Hare at the Barbican). The Sunday lunch served was simply very average and not value for money. Finally, why are the desserts here, always consistently so bad? I ordered a baked cheesecake and got cream squirted on a piece of cake. When I asked what I had been served, I was told it was chef 's interpretation of a cheesecake. The menu clearly stated baked cheesecake. Not even in my wildest dreams can you interpret a baked cheesecake as a piece of cake with creamed squirted on it! This was promptly returned and replaced with a vile chocolate tart, with pastry so hard I couldn 't cut into it without the fear of smashing the plate it was served on. The chocolate was over salted and the chantilly cream served with it unsweetened. Save your money, go elsewhere."
