"I've known about this place for several years, but I finally decided to visit with some friends a few weeks ago. It was quite chilly, but the staff was really friendly. We sat at a lovely table outside. I ordered a vegan hot chocolate that was really unique because the chocolate came on a stick, allowing it to melt directly into the milk (see attached photo!). It was so delicious that I ended up sipping it slowly rather than drinking it all at once. I also tried a vegan manolito (just a reminder, they focus on vegan options). The dish was made with fried beans and tortillas and was absolutely delicious, feeling both nutritious and packed with protein. Overall, I loved the place and would definitely return to try their other vegan offerings."

The dining experience was pleasant, and there were a few vegan options available; however, it felt a bit overpriced.

Yum! Always loved the maple syrup, and it being on free refill is a nice touch. Have to get myself one of those tote bags too!

This restaurant is extremely popular and booking in advance is essential to avoid long waits. The food is consistently outstanding, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

This was a bit of a disappointment, service was slow and the food was just average breakfast food. The best food we ate was the chocolate and orange pancakes. The coffee was good.

This restaurant is one of the best places to enjoy a delicious breakfast! The portion sizes are perfect for the prices, and they serve the best waffles and crispy bacon. I recommend trying the fresh mint tea with honey as well. My personal favorite is their smoked salmon with a side of avocados. The service is amazing, and I always have a great dining experience here. A must-visit for sure! View menu

I recently celebrated my birthday breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised by how busy it was even though it was a Monday. Despite the crowd, the staff were all wonderful and attentive, and the atmosphere was great. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was understandable given how busy it was. They even brought out some birthday pancakes for me, which was a nice touch! I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again.

Waiting time wasn't the fastest, we waited about 35 minutes for our order for two however, the booth seating was satisfying and the staff were very friendly and attentive. As far as the food goes I was full but the taste wasn't anything way above average. (The Moose style hot chocolate was banging) The menu has a lot of interesting different options however, can be limited if you don't consume pork as there is no halal option replacement e.g.Turkey bacon. This is surprising as turkey bacon is very famous in Canada. Overall 3.5

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
