"One of the Best Indian authentic food I had in the UK. I'm a big time foodie and chef myself, and heard a lot from my friends about this place. Tried on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very warm and cooperative, Manager Sunny Patel is a great host. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Malai Tikka, Vegetarian Paneer Schezuan Noodles and all things were really yummy. Even though Paneer was not mentioned in the Veg Noodles menu, but when I asked if they can customise the dish, they happily agreed. Portion size was great too. My 9 year old son liked it so much that he insisted to meet the Chef and say thanks. Met with chef Balbir who was hailing from Northern India (Uttrakhand) and thanked him for this really yummy food. You won't regret it if you are looking for great Indian food."

the burger is not in the same league as almost famous et al, but for a first attempt it was quite good. I guess it's unfair to compare them with some of the best, that's a bar that's really going to eat first. but they are on the right way and I can see that they are only getting better.

Great Indian dining experience at Singh Sizzler’s. The place is famous for it’s Sizzler’s. The food quality is excellent, the decor and ambiance is very good and the staff is friendly. We had samosa chat, butter chicken, garlic Naan, lamb biryani and Gulab jam for dessert . All met our expectations. Overall a very good experience.

large eating large service large selection of spirits. what a place, my friends at work brought me here and I come here at least once in the week. it is great to see a pub that offers really simple but good eating at a price that does not break the bank. they also have a large selection of filled beer and spirited and challenge some crazy foods. my advice. try it once. I myself and my other half always come here.

We ordered biryani and Manchurian sizzler and it was amazing just like I was eating in India. Staff was great as they even gave us complimentary schezwan chutney and Manchurian sauces to try and they were exactly like you get in India. Any Indian craving sizzlers and Indo chinese, just go to this place. Prices are fair as well. P.S: we were so impressed that we personally met the chef and complimented him for his work.

I would have given a 10-star rating if I could. My wife and I are from London and we have never found sizzlers this amazing anywhere in the UK. We ordered the biryani and Manchurian sizzler, and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were excellent and even gave us complimentary Schezwan chutney and Manchurian sauces to try, which tasted just like the ones in India. If you are craving Indian sizzlers and Indo-Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. The prices are reasonable as well. We were so impressed that we personally met the chef to compliment him on his work.

Our experience at this restaurant was amazing. We ordered the Indo-Chinese Sizzlers, which were delicious. It had been almost three years since we last had Indo-Chinese food in India, so this meal was a special treat. We also celebrated my birthday there, and the staff was very welcoming. They helped us with our cake and even recorded and played a birthday song, which was a touching gesture. I am grateful for the sweet memories and delicious food. I found out about this place thanks to recommendations from the Indians in Manchester WhatsApp group, and I am glad to have discovered this gem.

This restaurant is one of the best places to enjoy Indian cuisine. The spice levels are well-balanced and suitable for all palates. They excel in preparing naan bread. From appetizers to desserts, there are sizzling options on the menu. I highly recommend trying their butter chicken curry, which is incredibly creamy and flavorful. It is served with naan bread, broth, and rice. Their mango lassi is extremely thick and refreshing. The indulgent brownie dessert is the perfect way to end a meal on a high note. The ambiance is inviting, with Bollywood music playing in the background, making you feel at home.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
